Open a Patient Chart

To open a patient’s chart, simply tap the patient’s name. A patient summary screen displays. At the

bottom of the summary screen there are activity tabs. Each tab takes you to a specific activity. From

these activities tabs a user can access past encounters, results, notes, Care Everywhere documents and

a Links page.

Taking Clinical Photos

When it is beneficial to take a photo of a patient, Canto enables the user to do so and easily upload the

photo directly into the patient’s chart. To take a clinical photo of the patient,

Tap the patient’s photo in the header.

From the drop down menu that displays, select Take Clinical Image.

Canto will use your device’s camera to take the photo.

Once you have the photo you need, tap Use Photo.

Enter a Document Type and a Description for the photo and tap Save.

The photo is uploaded directly to the patient’s chart and can be found under the Media tab in

Chart Review.
