    India signed and ratified the protocol in August 2002

    Kyoto Protocol :

    United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC or FCCC) made this protocol during the Earth Summit,

    held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 314 June 1992.

    concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would preventdangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate
