World Meteorological OrganizationWorld Meteorological Congress meets every four

years to determine general policies for the fulfilment of the purposes of the Organization;

The Executive Council – annual meetings of 37 directors of National Meteorological or Hydrometeorological Services, serving in an individual capacity. The President and three Vice-Presidents who are elected

by Congress, The presidents of the six regional associations, by whom

they are elected. The remaining 27 members are elected by WMO

Congress. 2010 Budget: 68 million chf
