Poly-Vent is a modern alternative to inefficient and cumbersome roll-up vents. Heavy-duty, clear, UV-stabilized polyethylene opens from the top down without any moving parts except blowers. It can be controlled by thermostat and acts as an insulator with six inches of air space when inflated. Poly-Vent presents an energy-efficient, airtight seal the length of the opening and can be used in existing structures to start giving your plants the air they need.

HAF Fans

The HAF stands for “Horizontal Air Flow”. The HAF fan improves growing conditions by keeping a steady, gentle flow of air around plants to reduce mildew and disease problems while eliminating problem micro-climates which infringe upon even crop growth. Features: • Propeller - Aluminum blades held securely in place by a steel spider and hub provide

quiet operation. • Motor - Heavy duty PSC, totally enclosed motor with automatic thermal overload

protection and ball bearings that is energy efficient. Motor can be used with variable speed control for more precise air movement.

• Guards - Two piece wire guard for easy access has a gray plastic coating to resist corrosion.

• Installation - Two piece rotational bracket provides a locking tilt adjustment for proper angle of air flow. “S” bracket provides two different dimensional mountings.

• Wiring - It utilizes a 1/15 HP motor to turn 1573 RPM and move 2475 CFM.

ENVIRONMENTAL EQUIPMENT Air Distribution System

The unique Fan-Jet is a special tube pressurizing fan with curved stationary discharge vanes (stator vanes) that recover the rotational energy of discharging air to increase performance capacity and efficiency. Low-cost: Fan-jet powers more air at less horsepower for best results at low operating costs. Quality: Fan-jet is fully assembled at factory, test ran and inspected and then shipped ready to install with brackets and fasteners. High Performance Propellers: The propellers are matched to the size, performance and construction of the Fan-Jet. RC fan propellers are welded steel with the two coat finish. RCA fan propellers are welded heavy gauge aluminum. Built Tough: The steel model RC is available in 18", 24" and 30" sizes and is rust protected with a metal wash process and two-coat, baked on finish. Heat kits allow use of gas fired, electric, steam or hot water unit heaters without outside air passing through the heat exchanger. When used with a Fan-jet, Heat kits keep coils and elements out of the air flow route, thus saving energy. Each kit consist of two baffle plates with air scoops attached horizontally to the top and bottom of the Fan-jet Unit and to the framed opening of the motorized inlet shutter. Kits also come with a Fan-jet motor shield to prevent heat build-up. A center baffle accessory is included for use when opposing heaters trigger separately, preventing blow-through of hot air and possible motor damage.

Water Distribution & Return System

The 4” aluminum system utilizes quick snap together components for easy installation using a minimum of hardware. The heavy extruded gutter and support are designed to support the pads and carry the water back to the sump. The aluminum top cover is made in two pieces to facilitate cleaning the PVC pipe if clogged. The 6” system is available in Stainless Steel Only. The basic system includes Pipe Distributors, Pad Covers, Return Gutters, and necessary connectors and fittings. Sold in 5' increments.

4" and 6" KOOL-CEL Pads

Kool-Cel pads are cellulose cooling cells 4" and 6" deep, 12" wide and available in 12" increments from 24" to 72" tall with two pieces of 4" combined to make 84" and 96" tall pads. The cooling cells are made from a specially formulated cellulose paper impregnated with insoluble antirot salts. The exclusive cross fluted design makes Kool-Cel Pads a strong self supporting pad with high evaporative efficiency.

Plumping Package

The plumbing package is designed for use with all the pumps for the Kool-Cel systems and includes the necessary plumbing fittings and valve to complete the installation from the sump to the distributor and also contains the water strainer and float valve. ITEM # ACPLUMBKIT NOTE: The sump tank, cover and tank fittings are furnished by others and should be sized to provide 3/4 gallon per square foot of 4" pad area and 1 gallon per square foot of 6" pad area.
