Interdisciplinary Lecture Series Fundamentals of Digitalization and Digital Trends (On Thursdays, 2-4 pm, JUR HS 14; refer to Stud.IP course numbers 38606/38609) This interdisciplinary lecture series addresses fundamen- tal digital trends within our society. In the summer term 2018, the focus of the lecture is on “digital health”. The lecture series invites scholars from the university, distin- guished guest scholars, and practitioners to discuss tech- nological developments and their impact on businesses, the economy, and society. You will receive 5 ECTS for the lecture series as part of your Pathfinder Certificate (bachelor and master) and also possibly as part of your study program. Requirements of the Entrepreneurial Pathfinder programs

Program duration: 2 semesters

Courses for the Entrepreneurial Pathfinder

As an Entrepreneurial Pathfinder or Advanced Entrepre-neurial Pathfinder, you enroll in three courses with at least 15 ECTS. Of these courses at least one course has to be offered by another faculty and one course cannot be part of your regular degree.

Courses such as a lecture series on digitalization and digital trends, informatics, data and media law, media psy-chology, innovation, technology, and digital marketing are offered at the different faculties. Dive into the different perspectives on digital technology and entrepreneurship to gain a sound understanding!

DTE Pathfinder Forum

The student-organized DTE Pathfinder Forum provides a unique and vibrant platform for sharing experiences, ex-changing ideas, and presenting projects. It will start dur-ing the summer semester 2018.

DTE Project

In the DTE Project, you can pursue an idea or project related to entrepreneurship and digitalization on your own or in a team. For example, you can participate in a startup challenge, advise a startup, organize a guest speaker for the DTE Pathfinder Forum – any initiative re-lated to digital technology and entrepreneurship is highly welcome.

After completion, you will turn in a project report and present your DTE Project to the other DTE Pathfinders in the DTE Pathfinder Forum.

Entrepreneurial Pathfinder Certificates (Bachelor and Master)

Are you passionate about digital technologies and en-trepreneurship? Would you like to gain a deeper insight into these topics and show your expertise to potential employers?

If your answer is yes, the Entrepreneurial Pathfinder Cer-tificate is your choice. It provides you with interdiscipli-nary insights and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within these fields. And it allows you to de-velop new ideas and become part of a vibrant network of entrepreneurially minded people.

Legal Pathfinder

Are you a law student and interested in legal issues as-sociated with entrepreneurship and startups? In the Law Clinic, you will advise entrepreneurs and help them find their way through the jungle of legal pitfalls.

Of which at least• One course has to be at another faculty• One course is not part of your regular degree

One course can also cover both criteria. A maximum of two course can be part of your regular curriculum.

The platform where you can exchange your ideas, pro-jects, thoughts, and experiences with other pathfinder students.

Project report and project presentation within the DTE Pathfinder Forum.
