Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive (

entrepreneurship and encourage students from across India to embrace the concept of

starting one's own enterprise. EAD comprises a series of Guest Lectures, termed Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps (EADs)

in cities throughout India, each hosted in a reputed college of the respective cities. Each

includes a successful entrepreneur speaking about their entrepreneurial experiences and the

joys and hardships of their journey to success.

The event is structured as follows:

Mr. D.R. Mehta

D.R. Mehta (born June 25, 1937) is a former chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of

India. He is a founder and chief patron of Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti

(BMVSS), the world's largest organization for the handicapped in terms of free fitment of

artificial limbs/calipers etc.

D.R. Mehta joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1961 and held numerous important

positions initially in the Government of Rajasthan and later in the Government of

India.From 1992 to 1995 Mehta served as the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of

India (RBI)

Awards/honors D.R. Mehta has been honored at national and international levels. In 2008 he was

conferred with the Padma Bhushan by the President of India. Mehta has received the TECH

Museum Award for Innovation and Its Use for Humanity in Silicon ,The Indian for Collective

Action Award, DIWALI BEHAN Award(conferred by Dalai Lama),CNBC Award for Social

Enterprise, Satpal Mittal Award, etc. Mr. Mehta is also a Director on the Europe / Asia

Board of the Alfred Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA. D R Mehta has been also

bestowed upon by the Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award this Year.In 2013 he was

conferred with the ‘Rajasthan Ratan’ by rajasthan government.

Computer Sciences from Newport University, USA ,PhD in Electronic Data Processing from

Netherlands and a diploma course in 'System Analysis & Design’ from Uptron.

Ram Vilas Paswan, Hon'ble Minister for Communications honoured him with Certificate of

Excellence from Junior Chamber of Commerce, Jaipur, for outstanding services. He

received the International Millennium Gold Star. Indian Junior Chamber, Kota, awarded

him with the Outstanding Young Person in Rajasthan.

• Awarded him with Distinguished Leadership Award for worldwide recognition in The

International Directory of Distinguished Leadership for outstanding contribution to

• He was selected unopposed President of TIE, Jaipur (The Indus Entrepreneurs) for

two years.
