Thank you for attending the Fall Entertainment Technology Expo!

This edition of the Expo has been positioned to represent the changing face of our industry from a technological standpoint — and it’s our hope that what you see and learn here will give you the insights you need to advance your career and perform your job more effectively. Such changes are reflected in the Digital Process Workflow Lab, which is making its debut here. This integrated, cloud-based environment is certainly the newest evolution in the production process, but such workflows will become the norm in almost every business, so I encourage you to take a tour.

Our first keynote address, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, also acknowledges the ubiquitous-ness of technology in entertainment today. Fourth Wall Studios, an innovative production company whose online program, “Dirty Work,” earned a Prime Time Emmy® Award this year, is here to give you a rare, behind-the-scenes look at its amazing RIDES platform.

Finally, in keeping with this technological theme, we are also pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new, leading-edge Createasphere conference — The TransVergence Summit — which will address the ever-increasing confluence of technology, branding and storytelling. The first Summit will be held at the W Hotel in Hollywood next March, and I encourage you to find out more about it at www.tranvergencesummit.com.

In the meantime, please enjoy your time at the Expo. I sincerely hope you find it rewarding!

Best regards,

Kristin Petrovich KennedyPresident, Createasphere
