Eyvind Aven Vice President Strategic Risk, CFO - Risk Management Statoil Master in business administration, Eyvind Aven joined StatoilHydro in 1992. He has experience from shipping, corporate planning and economic analysis both in StatoilHydro and in banks. He has been working with risk management since 1996 and has been one of the key persons building up the Corporate Risk Management. He is now heading the Strategic Risk of Statoil's Corporate Risk Management.

Enrico Della Gatta Head of Crisis Management Alitalia From the beginning of his career in Alitalia he has been involved in flight safety issues as Vice-Director of the Technical Department of the largest Italian Pilot Association. After his appointment as Captain he started his duty in the Safety and Quality Department of Alitalia. He is Quality auditor, Aeronautical Accident Investigator, and ICAO and ENAC Security instructor. He has been working for the establishment of the Alitalia Group Crisis Management Department since its birth. His main objective was to have manuals, training, organization, and personnel in line with the state of the art of the industry, in order to have a credible and efficient emergency response organization that can properly face the organizational, legal and human issues that follow an emergency situation and a good and reliable Business Continuity plan. In the new Alitalia he is Head of Crisis Management, responsible also of the development of the Business Continuity Plan and the automation of emergency response procedures.Within IATA he has been Member of the Steering Committee in the Emergency Response Planning Working Group, has been elected Vice Chairman from 2002 to 2004 and again Vice Chairman and then Chairman until 2008. Since July 2010 he is Chairman of the “Emergency Response Procedures - Functional Expert Group” of SkyTeam.

Maurizio Micale Corporate Risk Management & Insurance Director ST Microelectronics Since 2000, Mr. Micale has been serving at STMicroelectronics N.V. one of the largest semiconductors company, formerly part of FIAT Group. In 1999, he joined IMPREGILO Group as Head of Risk Management & Insurance programs. After being promoted Group’s Risk Manager East Europe, he developed and implemented global company loss prevention and business continuity’s corporate risk management department, in Milan. He joined PIRELLI in 1994 as Group’s Risk Control Engineering in the Risk Control Department in Italy. In 1992 he moved into corporate risk in London to establish SEDGWICK branch office there. In 1990, he joined CHUBB & SON Inc. as Loss Control Manager Trainee, then established, managed and developed the Loss Control Department in Milan and Boston.

Olivier Moumal Vice President Risk Management Belgacom Group Olivier Moumal is responsible (and started) for Risk Management, Insurance, business continuity & credit risk management within the Belgacom Group. For Belcom, he launched in 1997 a reinsurance captive (Luxembourg) and coordination center for financial and purchase services.(Brussel). He is also specialized as well in pure financial risks (ALM, risk metrics, securization) as in bad debt and credit risk management (scoring, fraud). He is recognized as an expert in computer, telecom and software risks and has published several technical articles on IT/Telecom risk management and business continuity. Before joining Belgacom, Olivier has worked successively as a reinsurance expert (Guy carpentier, Marh) as insurance software expert (Bull Europe Paris) as manager insurance practice (Andersen consulting Brussels) and risk and insurance manager (Glaverbel/Asahi Glass).

Francisco Perez Thoden Risk Management Director Endesa Francisco Pérez Thoden: from 1986 in Endesa where he has developed all his professional career. From 1986 to 1997 he occupied several positions in the Energy Management area in Spain. From 1997 to 2000, he was involved in the international activities of Endesa in Argentina and from 2000 to 2008 he has been involved in Endesa’s activities in Europe with Endesa trading (2000 – 2001) and Endesa Italia (2002 – 2008). From 2009 he is Risk Control Director in Endesa. Mr. Perez was born in 1960 and holds a degree in Industrial Eng from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI).

Frédéric Groussaud Chief Risk Officer italcementi Frederic serves as Chief Risk Officer of Enterprise Risk Management Department (ERM) in Italcementi, the fifth cement producer worldwide. ERM Department is in charge to provide oversight and directions for the management of key risks associated with existing and new businesses, ensuring that they are properly identified, assessed, measured and managed across Italcementi Group. In particular the Enterprise Risk Management Department has to define and develop the ERM Governance in terms of guidelines, processes, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for key risks. It also supports the Functions involved in integrating risk management within strategic planning and business processes, ensuring that all significant risks are properly mitigated through specific actions for improvement.
