Now in its third year Enterprise Month has gone from strength to strength with the objective of shininga spotlight on just some of the enterprise activities on offer all year round across the county of Kerry.The county is renowned for its enterprising culture with many, now global companies, starting in Kerry.Indigenous firms have blossomed into major international companies while still maintaining theirheadquarters in Kerry. Dynamic collaborations between industry, the Institute of Technology, Traleeand State Agencies has fostered the growth of leading edge technology companies.

Starting a business can be daunting, but the many supports in place throughout the county are thereto help and advise you through the process. Inter-agency co-operation and co-ordination is strong inKerry, creating a focused enterprise development strategy dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs.Through these collaborative organisations up and coming entrepreneurs can avail of mentoring,workshops, networking, prototyping, market research and funding supports. Whether you are lookingto grow your existing business or have an idea for an exciting new venture there is a wealth of adviceand assistance available to you.

The Local Enterprise Office Kerry is now embedded as part of Kerry County Council and provides abroad range of supports and programmes to the small business sector. Kerry County Councilrecognises the importance of the indigenous business sector to County Kerry and continues tosupport these small businesses.

The Tom Crean Business Centre and Kerry Technology Park provide start-up businesses with anoptimum environment to build and scale an international business, by combining office space withbusiness supports within a network of entrepreneurs.

Dedicated entrepreneur development programmes like the Enterprise Ireland funded New Frontiersprogramme delivered at the Institute of Technology Tralee now has an alumni of over 30 companiesand offers the supports to equip you with the skills and contacts that you need to successfully startand grow your company. We look forward to meeting you during the next four weeks.
