Operational Highlights

The Quadrant Leaders and Presidio continue to

conduct the cabling final inspections at our campuses.

Last week 13 final inspection walk-throughs were

completed – 7 by Elizabeth and 6 by Anna.

Issues were identified at 5 of the campuses inspected

this week. The Quadrant Leader will engage with the

vendor to ensure the issue is addressed.

The Customer Care Center monitors the CFISD network. Any

connectivity issues are communicated to the Enterprise Communication

Network Team.

and present to both the ECN

and CCC teams to ensure

alignment.

Operational Highlights

Ray Leung worked with Layer 3 Communications to adjust airtime utilization (or channel utilization) for our

wireless network. Although we have a brand new, robust wireless network that provides fast access for new

devices, we were still receiving complaints about slow wireless access. As it turns out, the complaints were

coming from users that have older edge devices.

After Ray adjusted the channel utilization to better accommodate both old and new devices, the user

response has improved dramatically.
