The method of Raman spectroscopy allows obtaining individual spectral “fingerprints” of materials. It is one of the most accurate approaches for materials characterization at the moment as each”fingerprint“ is inherent and unique for a particular material.

Advantages of the method: • Measurements through transparent and semi-transparent packages • Analysis of liquids, powders, tablets, gels • Accurate results in less than 3 seconds • Qualitative and quantitative analysis • Resolves characteristics of individual DNA molecules • Lightweight, compact, and portable instuments • Full-range in-field use • No sample preparation required • Low cost operation

• Homeland security • Police & Trace Forensic • Mineralogy & Gemology • Raw materials identification • Pharmaceutics & Medical diagnostics • Science & Nanomaterial studies • Semiconductors

EnSpectr spectrometers are unique Raman-luminescent analyzers. Spectral range : 90-6000 cm-1 (540-790 nm or more)

Wide spectral range is highly important as luminescence lines may often be narrow and informative.

Our specialized software with multiple modes of spectra recognition based on proprietary algorithmsallows us to improve the quality of spectra recognition and to solve a number of specific issues e.g.detection of narrow and weak Raman lines on the background of a substrate, rapid identificationof a substance in multicomponent mixtures, and broad luminescence lines recognition.

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

Most portable devices available on the market have a range of 250-2000 cm-1 ; this excludes the linesof essential materials and structures that lie outside of this range e.g. water (3400-3600 cm-1).

Spectral resolution of 4-6 cm-1 allows analysis of complex Raman spectra and provides excellentquality of sample recognition.

At 532 nm luminescence lines fade by contrast to the Raman ones.Besides, the luminescence is easily removed by the EnSpectr software.

The unique shutter technology allows measurement of objects with ultra-high red area luminescence e.g. rubies, sapphires etc.
