Enhancing Admissions Communications
• Revise website & admissions communications to improve transparency and to provide improved support:
• Post Admissions Deadlines on the website.• Including deny reason(s) on admission deny letters.
• Cross training Bronco Advising Center (BAC) with general admissions information.
• Publicize multiple ALEKS test dates on website & promote online test option.
Early engagement – “Billy-Chat”
Integration with Ask Billy
Financial Aid Estimates• Surge in students verification for federal financial aid applications (FAFSA).• Provide Financial Aid Estimates for all incoming students early in Fall
admission cycle. • Align Financial Aid Estimates with Admissions decisions to maximize
predictability of what should be expected in aid and net (out of pocket) costs.• Estimated Aid Awards will streamline verification process for students (and
the Financial Aid office).
Financial Literacy• Launching Financial Literacy program to support responsible borrowing.• Help students & parents borrow wisely and share resources.• Offers several online modules
Smart Planner• PeopleSoft interactive, proactive course planning system• More efficient and engaging visual presentation of current academic status
and future academic path.• Smart Planner does not replace their Degree Progress Report (DPR), but
assists in planning for meeting DPR requirements.
CPP Connect – early alert and predictive analytics• Proactive real-time interventions.• Early alert system for academic & holistic support. • Predictive analytics based 10 years of data.• Analyzes over 800 student risk factors• Track progress and provide warnings when
students are off track.• Advisor communication tools to make
appointments, create advising notes, and make referrals.
Registration Enforcement GE Math & GE Writing (EO 1110)
• Enforce incoming freshman that require academic support in Math and/or Writing (Category III and IV), to enroll in required course(s) before they can register for other courses.
• Students unable to drop required Math and/or Writing courses.• Students can swap required course(s).• Ensures EO 1110 compliance.• Reduce staff time “policing enrollments.”
Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solution to support quality communication with students
• Facilitate communications & coordinate initiatives across University.• Effectively communicate with students in a personalized way.• Enable interaction-related data collection & sharing to improve student success,
engagement, and retention.• Managing & analyzing stakeholder interactions to improve outcomes and user
experience.• Improving the quality of interactions and enabling staff to be strategic and
coordinated.
