The strong stainless steel reflector and spherical burner helps to radiate 95% of the heat efficiently downwards.

The Global 5 Brooder can be hung at a higher height (between 1.4 metres and 1.7 metres) than other brooders enabling it to heat a larger area.

All of our brooders are fitted with a flame failure shut off valve as standard which cuts the gas supply if the flame is extinguished.

Prices exclude V.A.T. and are subject to alteration without prior notice in the event of raw material cost increases or VAT charges. We reserve the right to change the design of any equipment shown in this catalogue without prior notice.

CARRIAGE:

Carriage at cost plus V.A.T. at current rate.

GENERALLY:

1. These are the only conditions under which game birds, eggs and equipment are sold by the seller and no variation of these conditions shall apply unless accepted in writing by the Seller or its duly authorised agent employee or servant.

2. In the Conditions the following words shall bear the following meanings:- ‘The Seller’ shall mean Patrick Pinker (Game Farm) Ltd ‘The Buyer’ shall mean the person purchasing the goods. ‘Despatch’ shall mean unconditional appropriation of the goods to the Contract and ‘Despatched’ shall be interpreted accordingly. ‘Game Birds’ shall mean pheasants, partridges, quail, ducks and guinea fowl of any age. ‘Equipment’ shall mean any items sold by the seller other than game birds and their eggs.

3. Patrick Pinker (Game Farm) accepts no liability for any damage or loss arising from: (a) delay or failure to deliver stock or goods for any reason whatsoever. (b) the incorrect or improper use of any goods or equipment supplied by it. Where the purchaser is supplied with operating instructions and in particular instructions for the use of incubators, the Sellers recommended procedures and practices must be followed and failure to follow such instructions by the purchaser shall be deemed to be an incorrect or improper use.

4. Goods represented by the buyer to be defective shall not form the subject of any claim for work done by the buyer or for any loss, damage or expense whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from such defects, but such goods, if returned to the Company and accepted by it as defective, will be at the request of the buyer and if practical be replaced as originally ordered. Defects in quality or dimensions in any delivery shall not be a ground for cancellation of the remainder of the order of contract.

5. The property in the goods shall pass to the Buyer and the purchase price shall become due and owing at the time of despatch to the Buyer and all goods are despatched at the Buyer’s risk and the Seller shall not in any circumstances be held liable for any loss or damage to the goods after the same have been despatched.

6. If the place of delivery is a Railway Station the Buyer shall at his own expense and risk make proper provision for collection therefrom.

7. Notwithstanding the passing of the risk in the goods until full payment has been received by the Seller, for all the goods whatsoever supplied at the time by the Seller to the Purchaser, the property of the goods remains in the Seller. The Seller may without prejudice to it’s other rights and remedies recover and/or resell the goods and may come upon the Purchaser’s premises at any time without notice to respossess the goods without any liability. If the Seller ceases to carry on its business or a substantial part thereof or if any distress or execution is levied on any part of the Purchaser’s property or if the Purchaser makes or offers to make arrangements or composition with creditors or commits any act of bankruptcy or if any resolution or petition to wind up the Purchaser’s business is presented or passed or a Receiver is appointed of the Purchaser’s undertaking property or assets or any material part thereof.

8. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the quality of any bird delivered is as ordered, the Seller shall not be liable for any defect in the quality of any such bird nor does the Seller warrant that the birds delivered shall be free from disease.

9. An additional charge may be made for packing and carriage on all orders.

10. 2% of the total ordered is added free of charge by the Seller on all orders for day old chicks.

11. Where the subject of the contract includes hatching eggs the Seller shall not be responsible if all or any of the same fail to hatch but without prejudice to this 5% of the total order is added to all orders for eggs.

12. In the event of the Buyer setting the eggs or causing the eggs to be set in an incubator this is done entirely at his own risk.

EQUIPMENT:

13. No express or implied conditions, statement or warranty whether statutory or otherwise is given or intended to be given as to the suitability of the equipment for any particular purpose and no liability is accepted by the Seller for any loss, damage or injury caused whether directly or indirectly by the use of the equipment.

14. An additional charge is made for packing and carriage of all equipment.

HOW TO FIND USFROM THE NORTH AND MIDLANDSLeave the south-bound M5 at junction 14 Falfield for the A38 to Bristol (the Game Farm is approximately 7 miles from this junction). Leave the A38 at Rudgeway Lights onto the B4427/Church Road, keep going straight onto the B4059 -21/2 miles to duck pond on the left. If you cross a level crossing you have missed us - turn around.

FROM THE SOUTH WEST AND WALESLeave the north-bound M5 at junction 16 Almondsbury for the A38 to Gloucester (the Game Farm is approximately 5 miles from this junction). Leave the A38 at Rudgeway Lights onto the B4427/Church Road, keep going straight onto the B4059 -21/2 miles to duck pond on the left.

FROM LONDONLeave west bound M4 at junction 18 Tormarton for the A46 to Old Sodbury (the Game Farm is approximately 9 miles from this junction). Turn left onto the A432 to Chipping Sodbury and Yate onto the B4059. At Iron Acton, Latteridge is sign-posted. Cross the level crossing and the Game Farm is on the right as the road bears left.
