In order to avoid uncontrolled heat transer into the medium, Brkert

reduce the heat production.

The core component in ipper valves is a metal lid vulcanized

with elastomer. This pivoting ipper is housed in the uidchamber and alternately closes one o the two valve seats.

As in valves with diaphragms, ipper valves provide a

complete separation o medium and actuator. However, the

switching action o the ipper creates no pump eect. In

addition, the ipper valve technology allows or especially

short and reproducible response times and an extended

service lie due to the lack o diaphragm exing. This makes

this technology particularly suitable or precise dosing

applications. Since the medium does not act on large areaso a diaphragm, ipper valves remain tight even at back

pressures above the nominal pressure.

The valve seats in rocker valves are in one plane and opened

and closed by a switching rocker. Due to the extremely smallamount o moving mass involved, the distinguishing eature o

rocker valves is their particularly long service lie.

Alongside the non-media-separated valves or pneumatic

applications, the principle behind rocker valves also allows or

the reliable separation o medium and actuator by way o a

diaphragm. In contrast to plunger type valves with a diaphragm,

the construction principle o rocker valves provides a secure

seal o the valve seats even i a high back pressure is applied.

Due to the lack o gaps in the inner contour and the very goodcleanability o the uid chamber, the media-separated rocker

valves are particularly well suited or use with biological media.

Type 6144 Direct-acting 3/2-way lipper valve

The medium separated type 6144 has been designed or general purpose use and is especially

suitable in pneumatic applications. Alongside its compact orm, the valve boasts a particularly long

service lie o more than 500 million cycles and can handle pressures o up to 10 bar (145 psi).

It is also available as a latching version or with explosion protection type Ex-ia.

Type 6626 Direct-acting 3/2-way rocker v alve

The type 6626 is the bigger counterpart o the type 6624 using the TwinPower actuator as well.

With pressures ranging rom vacuum to 2 bar and an orifce o 3 mm, this technology allows or a

valve with only 16 mm in width. An additional LED enables the status monitoring o the valve.

Detailed technical data can be ound on the respective

data sheet or each individual type. The chemical resistance

table oers support in selecting the right seal and housing

Type 6650 Direct-acting 2/2 or 3/2-way lipper valve

With a width o just 4.5 mm, type 6650 sets new industry standards. Along with its compact

design, the 6650s extremely ast and high-precision switching makes it primarily ideal or use in

dosing tasks in the microlitre range. Further advantages o the v alve are not least i ts capability to

handle pressures up to 7 bar (101 psi) and a service l ie o more than 50 million cycles.

Type 6624 Direct acting 2/2- or 3/2-way rocker valve

The new TwinPower actuator enables a radical reduction in size and ootprint without compromises

in perormance. With only 10 mm pitch our media-separated rocker valve comes along with 1.6 mm

orifce and 2 bar pressure resistance the same perormance data as the traditional 16 mm rocker

valve.

Type 0127 Direct-acting 2/2 or 3/2-way rocker valve

Brkerts unique rocker valve still sets a standard or media-separated valves in the feld o labora-

tory, medical and analytical devices. This valve combines low internal volume with minimal dead

volume and impresses with a large variety o port connections and materials.

Pumps

Type 7604 Micro diaphragm pump

The sel-priming diaphragm pump is ideal or continuous low ow liquid applications. Since only

the high-class materials PEEK and FFKM get in contact with the uid, the pump can also be used

or aggressive chemicals. The mounting pitch o 11 mm allows or an extremely compact design

and ease o mounting, with standard bodies designed or surace mount (maniold) or tube con-

nections. The low power consumption o just 1.5 watt means the pump can be easily incorporated

into battery-powered mobile devices. The ow rate can be adjusted by varying the requency input

to ft the specifc perormance requirements. Due to the high maximum requency o 40 Hz, the

pulsation is reduced to a minimum.

Type 7616 Micro dosing unit

The micro dosing unit 7616 consists o a diaphragm pump and active inlet and outlet valves. The

components are assembled on a maniold in order to keep the internal volume to a minimum. The

delivered volume can be adjusted via the cycle rate (max. 850 cycles/min) and stroke adjustment

(0.5 l 5 l). Thanks to its high reproducibility (< 2 %), the unit is ideal or precise dosing o

the smallest quantities o liquids. PEEK and FFKM are the only materials that come into contact

with the media. This acilitates the use with aggressive media. The micro dosing unit can be easily

operated via three digital channels. A matching controller, which can be confgured via a PC, is also

available.

Type 6628 Direct-acting 2/2 and 3/2-way rocker valve

The 22 mm valve complements the TwinPower amily by using the same uidic design as the proven

and reliable 0127. The established rocker technology is characterized through ull back pressure

tightness, good rinsing capability and low internal volume. Type 6628 is available with dierent port

connections, sealing and housing material to be able to adapt it to various applications.

Type 0121 Direct-acting 2/2 or 3/2-way pivoted armature valve

Type 0121 has been developed especially or use with aggressive chemical substances and

waste media. A robust design and high-class materials defne the characteristics o this valve.

Type 0124 Direct-acting 2/2 or 3/2-way pivoted armature valve

Type 0124 is especially suitable or the control o slightly aggressive or waste media, which require

a separation o medium and actuator. Depending on the orifce, the valve is suitable or pressures

up to 16 bar (232 psi), and an orifce o up to 5 mm allows or high ow rates.

As well as customer-specifc maniolds, Brkert also oers

a range o standard solutions or the types 6144, 6604,0127 and 6628. Via a respective common collecting channel,
