The Anunnaki of ancient Sumerian texts is similarly defined as
those who from heaven to earth came .
Psalm 82:
Jehovah takes his stand at the Council of El to deliver
judgment
among the elohim. You too are gods, sons of El Elyon, all of
you.
I find it interesting that Enki's symbol is that of a snake
which denotes healthand wisdom.

Enki is the lord of the "Abzu (the watery abyss and also semen)
and of wisdom. This contradiction leads Kramer and Maier to
postulate that he was once known asEn-kur, lord of the
monster-infested underworld, the area which contained the Abzu. He
did struggle with Kur (a dragon-like creature who ruled the realm
Kur) as
mentioned in the prelude to 'Gilgamesh, Enkidu and the
Underworld' and presumably was victorious and thereby able to claim
the title "Lord of Kur" (the realm).
He is a god of water, creation, and fertility. He also holds
dominion over theland. He is the keeper of the me, the divine
laws."
