Enjoy an evening to LIVE it up, LAUGH out loud, and LEARN something new!
What is Live, Laugh, Learn?
Mollie Gross and Kristine Schellhaas are bringing military audiences fresh
perspectives, deployment tools, networking opportunities, and a new
appreciation for our military lifestyle. These two ladies have worldwide fan
bases with two distinctive markets: 1) military spouse and 2) yet to be
recruited to retirees. They use humor, information, and resources to reach
their audiences strategically through social medial, including Facebook,
Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and more to connect with the new generation of
military wife.
The vast use of internet and social media has created a smart, media savvy
individual who questions authority, wants 24/7 access, and seeks individuals
speaking their own language. Young spouses are crying out for new leadership
and someone they can relate to for direction.
Audience members will connect emotionally with speakers through laughter and hard-hitting advice
utilizing a dynamic, guided workshop.
Following the workshop presentation, the audience engages in a no-holds bar, funny and upbeat Q&A
session delving into military life, motherhood, relationships and more.
Lastly, individuals connect with new resources, friends, and participate in social interactions with meet
up opportunities and social games.
Bottom Line: Spouses will LAUGH at themselves, LEARN new
resources and tools, and LIVE more fully with the lessons learned.
“All I have to say is thank God for you both. I can’t tell you
how many events I’ve gone to where I’ve been bored out of
my mind and dazing off. How am I supposed to relate to
someone my mother’s age and think that they are going
through the same thing that I’m going through? It’s a harsh
reality, but things change.” MCRD, 2013
“Kristine and Mollie are young military wives and I can
completely relate to them. I love that I can go online and
connect with their funny and honest resources and advice. So
many of the other bloggers sound the same, but Mollie and
Kristine stand out. They make me laugh and understand what
I’m going through today.” Camp Pendleton, 2013

Mollie Gross excites the crowd with humor and shenanigans and then follows with motivational speaking, reflecting on life as a new military spouse, friendship, and an attitude of gratitude. Following Mollie, Kristine Schellhaas shares the heart-wrenching story of her military life, dealing with a sudden loss of a child due to a tragic accident, learning to love and live again, and creating something bigger than herself to help others. Mollie and Kristine will share thirty minutes to an hour each, providing deployment and military life resiliency to fellow military spouses. They’ll also have the opportunity to connect with the speakers with a Q&A panel and/or breakout discussions depending on time.

"Mollie Gross was the perfect addition to OSMF’s 1st annual event, Military
Spouse Appreciation Day 2013, in Portland, Oregon. She had the ability to
bring life, lift spirits and find common ground with spouses that attended
from all Armed Service Branches. She navigated spouses from laughter to
tears and back again, with her uncanny ability to weave humor into a
thoughtful message that skillfully encouraged military spouses, to not only
develop an ‘attitude of gratitude’, but also, to live their dreams! The
spouses walked away inspired from her motivational speaking. Thank you
Mollie Gross! - OSMF (Tara Clark & Alyson Schumacher, Founders)"
