Our source has an average temperature of 45ºC, producing hot springs that feel pleasant to people. Our hot

springs have an extremely high alkalinity that measures 9.0 or greater on the pH scale, and our hot springs include minerals and other compo-

Kikuchi's townscape has remained intact since the Heian period, and with features like the Noh theater found on Gosho (Imperial Palace) Street, the town is filled with a certain tradi-tional atmosphere.
