Turn Coil Gun demo into a working "Toy Gun"

Design acrylic gun assembly and

bring to Desert Star for cutting w/laser

You will get to use Matlab computer modelling software to design a profile in SolidWorks

(Matlab in a later class)

Design carved on Carmel High CNC Mill

Final Project Option 3: 3D design

Form a design goal for some 3D object made from either Wood, Metal or Acrylic and design in SolidWorks.

Today: SolidWorks basics

For option 1 or 3: – Draw 2D parts in SolidWorks and make a 1/8" Extrusion– Make a new drawing from a part– Remove all title blocks in drawing and save just the part

outline in adobe illustrator format– Arrange several parts into a 12" x 12" square in Illustrator

For option 2: – Draw a profile in SolidWorks and make a "Revolution"
