    Clashes occurred between TNLA and the Pan-Say Peoples Militia Force(26 July 2013)

    A clash occurred between T.N.L.A Battalion 112 and the Pan-Say Peoples Militia Force at

    5.30pm on 25 July.

    The clash occurred when T.N.L.A Battalion 112 was continuing it 2013-2014 opium

    eradication campaign near Kam-pa-pho village in Kut-kai Township.

    The commander of T.N.L.A Battalion 112 said the fighting broke out when we were

    undertaking the opium 2013-2014 eradication, and the fight lasted an hour, from 5:30 pm to

    6:30 pm.

    There was no confirmed information on casualties from among Burmese Army troops and its

    militias.

    The T.N.L.A said it will continue to step-up its opium eradication project in the Ta-Angregion for 2013-2014.

    Battle between Kon-Lon based Government Battalion 145 and T.N.L.A Battalion 112

    (27 July 2013)

    The battle between T.N.L.A Battalion 112 and the Burmese Army troops belonging to

    Battalion 145 occurred near Kam-Pa-Pho village in Kut-kai Township, at 10 am local time on

    27 July.

    The fighting broke out as 50 members of the Government troop battalion 145 and 40

    members of the Pan-say peoples militia troop attacked the T.N.L.A battalion 112, when the

    T.N.L.A was conducting its 2013-2014 opium eradication campaign in the Ta-Ang region.

    The commander of T.N.L.A Battalion 112, Tar Wang Mun said the fighting broke out as the

    government troop and the Pan-Oay peoples militia troop started their attacks at 10 am.

    There are approximately 100 of them. The fighting is now continuing, we have no confirmed

    information of casualties from either side.

    According to information sources, fighting also occurred on 25 July between the T.N.L.Abattalion 112 and the Pan-say peoples militia troop, at 5:30 pm-6:30 pm local time.

    At the time this report was written it was advised that fighting was still continuing.
