Strandhotellet Gl. Skagen With its octogonal

meeting pavillon and newly installed café "Parasol", Strand -

hotellet Gl. Skagen has unique conference facilities, where you

can maintain your focus and get inspiration and vision from the

beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed at

the hotel, and dinner at Ruths Hotel, which is only 100 m away.

Facts: 20 rooms each with unique, tasteful design. 2 meeting venues, the largest for up to 20 people with tables

and 35 with theatre seating. Modern AV equipment. You can

also hold meetings on board the fishing cutter Oke for

up to 12 people.

Ruths Hotel Meetings and conferences are of high qualityat Ruths Hotel because of its perfect setting for relaxation and

Aalbæk Gl. Kro is the place for small meetings and

courses, where the participants can get to know each other in a

comfortable and inspiring atmosphere full of charm and good

food. The 190 year-old buildings have been carefully renovated

so that the atmosphere of the Danish inn remains intact

– combined with the modern comfort of the rooms in the wings.

Surroundings such as a lovely garden, the forest and beach

encourage an active stay, including for example golf, fishing and

guided tours, which we can help organise according to your

needs. Aalbæk has about 1,700 inhabitants – a lovely village with

a fishing environment, yachting harbour, and only a 10 minute

drive from Skagen.

Our culture is a chapter in itself and a Danish cultural

treasure of the highest level. It is created by artists who were

themselves part of the town’s history. Anna and Michael Ancher,

Holger Drachmann and Peder Severin Krøyer are some of the

Skagen painters who were at the forefront of European art

in the last century.

Skagens Museum has the world’s largest collection of Skagen

art.In the town´s other museums you can get an insight into the

history of the town, the artists’ home. There are also a large

number of galleries with modern art.

Diget the college at Skagen has unique meeting facilities in inspiring surroundings at Skagens Odde – a beautiful natural area 17 km

south of the town with moorland, sea, dunes, forest and beach all

around. Guests will have lots of opportunity to enjoy the large outdoor

spaces with only 700 m to the beach and 3.5 km to Råbjerg Mile – or to

visit our neighbour, the golf club Hvide Klit, which has a beautiful and

challenging 18 hole course. One-day meetings, courses and conferences

can be organised to include lectures, singing, music, or other indoors or

outdoors activities. Our food is prepared according to meticulous

principles – organic and local fresh ingredients are used wherever

possible. At Diget there is light and air for great thoughts to thrive and

for opinions to meet.

who will follow the wishes of our guests.

Find your inner artist! Course in painting in an exciting environment. Duration 2-3 hours. Most of us have a lot to offer when

we’re given total freedom to express ourselves. With the option of making

their own painting, which will be varnished, framed and made ready to take
