Admission requirementsApplicants must be academically qualified for an undergraduate degree program of their choice, but do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirements to study at Ryerson.

ESL Foundation Program- Successful completion of this program allows
students to join any of our 60+ undergraduate degree programs with up to 3 degree credit courses on their transcript.
- Students are immersed in a supportive environment focused on integrated English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Purpose (ESP) with 25 hours of instruction per week.
- Tuition includes up to two university degree credit courses which can be applied to their undergraduate program. Students can take one additional degree credit course at an extra cost.
English Boost- Successful completion of this program
allows students to join any of our 60+ undergraduate degree programs.
- Students will build their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in an accelerated timeframe (30 hours of instruction per week).
- Tuition is lower as there is no option for students to receive undergraduate degree credits.
