  • FEES AND EXPENSESTuition costs are $3,650.00 CAD per level. Tuition costs include mandatory health insurance and a bus pass.

    PLACEMENT TESTIf you do not have a valid academic IELTS/TOEFL score, a placement test is required to determine your level. The placement test is approximately 3 hours long and results are normally provided 24-48 hours after completion of the test.

    If required, book your placement test once you have been accepted at algonquincollege.com/placementtest

    ORIENTATIONAttend the EAP International orientation to meet the Student Support Specialist, the International EAP Coordinator, new friends, hear from alumni and learn about health insurance, services and programs provided to International students. Further written details about the EAP orientation will be sent to your email address one month prior to the start of your intake. algonquincollege.com/internationalorientation

    REFUNDIf you have been refused a Study Permit, please upload a copy of the letter of refusal from the Canadian Visa Office to the application portal. Further information in regards to Algonquin’s refund policy can be found at algonquincollege.com/refundpolicies

    You may be reported to IRCC If you withdraw, cease to attend classes, or become part-time, you should be aware that the College does report to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) twice a year of your change in status and you will no longer have health insurance coverage from the College.

    STEPS TO APPLY

    The EAP International program has 8 levels. Each level is 7 weeks in duration. Students build the necessary English skills to function in college, university and professional environments through academic reading, writing, listening and speaking courses. Learning activities focus on active participation and critical thinking in academic and workplace contexts through in-class and lab activities.

    Completion of level 3B with B average

    Health and Communication Related Programs

    Overall 6.5 No band below 6.0

    TOEFL 88 IBT Minimum fo 22 in each component

    Completion of level 3B with B average

    Apply to the EAP International program and submit the $95 non-refundable application fee payment. You can submit an on-line application at: algonquincollege.force.com/myACint/

    If you are not in Canada, indicate how long you intend to study EAP and a letter of acceptance will be sent to you via the application portal within 3 business days. If you are in Canada and you require a letter of acceptance, you must pre-pay a $1,500 CAD deposit to the EAP program prior to getting a letter of acceptance

    If required, (If you don’t have an Academic IELTS/TOEFL score) book your EAP placement test after you have received your offer letter. The placement test is $50 CAD. Book your test at algonquincollege.com/placementtest

    Your student number (a 9 digit number beginning with 040XXXXXX) is required for the booking and can be found on your letter of acceptance and/or on your payment receipt.
