'Arirang' is actually a traditional Korean folk song.

It means, 'I am a gentle man.' The song 'Arirang' has

represented the joy and sorrow of Korea for a long

time and it has now become the spirit of Korea.

Befitting its name, Arirang TV approaches the world

with a gentle and charming smile that embodies

Korea's spirit. We will not limit ourselves to simply

introducing Korea's tradition and culture, but we will

strive to achieve world peace, preserve the Earth, and

heal the wounds of war through high quality contents.

We will take the lead in sharing all assets of this world -

from history, culture and art to science and medicine -

to every person regardless of nationality, ethnicity,

age, or religion.
