BAN OF PLASTIC SURGERY

First Speaker (Affirmative Team) : Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Thanks

for the time has given to me. I’m Artha as the

first speaker for debate today. Ban plastic

surgery in full defition is surgery done to

repair, restore, or improve lost, injured,

defective, or isshapen body parts. For

example: many people use plastic surgery to

alter his body parts to get a beauty, but she

can look pretty though not with plastic

surgery. it means he is not satisfied with

those of today. Plastic surgery can be

harmful for the body because it could pose a

risk of infection ending in death. we agree

with the statement that the ban on plastic

surgery because it can cause people to be

grateful to those present and reduce the death

rate due to plastic surgery

First Speaker (Negative Team) : Good morning ladies and gentleman, I would

like to introduce myself, my name is Raka

Saputra, I am so grateful standing here as the

first speaker of negative team,

RisnaMuliantini as the second speaker and

Amelia RosalitaDewi as the third speaker.

Let me remind you about the mention today

is “Ban Plastic Surgery”

First I want to rebut the first speaker of the

affirmative team, you said: Plastic Surgery it

can cause people not gratefull for the give of

the god and plastic surgery can be harmful

for the body because it could pose a risk of

infection ending in death.

But, I don’t agree with the your argument is

according to me, plastic surgery is not

grateful for the give of god but plastic

surgery is a special type of operations carried

out in various parts of the body to improve

the appearance of a person, based on the

procedure reconstruction can improve defects

in the face of or other parts of the body. It

can been covering flawed innate like

congenital ear and lips cleft palate, the

condition after the treatment of disease like

the operation of breast cancer or injuri

traumatic like burns, and so forth. With the

procedure cosmetic, the body with where

someone feel not satisfied will irreversible.

Ok that all of my rebuttle lets move to my

argument, Nowadays, cosmetic surgery has

become more popular for modern people.

Some people believe that it is a science to

increase the beauty of a person. The basic

aim of this surgery is to enhance the

appearance.

Therefore there is a tremendous advantage of

plastic surgery it is gaining wide popularity

among the general public in addition to

celebrities. Many people see the body look

more proportional after surgery. Plastic

surgery focuses on providing the most

natural appearance to the body because of the

increased appearance people may feel more

comfortable and confident. Okay that all

from me, thank you

Second Speaker (Affirmative Team) : There are dangers involved in any kind of

surgery. Sometimes we must accept those

dangers, as they come in the course of

necessary medical procedures. But with

elective surgery – procedures people don’t

need, but rather merely want – the risks

can’t be justified. These risks apply both

to the surgery itself, and to the long term.

For example, leaking silicone breast

implants have been a widespread problem

and can lead to death. Once, paraffin was

often injected into the face to smooth

wrinkles, with disastrous effects. Silicon

often finds its way into other parts of the

body, such as the lymph glands, and can

prevent the early detection of breast

cancer as doctors often think real lumps

are silicon leakage. So what is the use of

being beautiful if you have disease and

feel sick.

Okay now lets move to my argument

My argument is about the expense of

plastic surgery

Plastic surgery cost big amount of money.

It can cost over 50 million rupiah just for

1 nose job. It is totaly expensive. For

people who can not afford it they would

do whatever they want to have the money

and do plastic surgery. It is better for the

people to use the money to help other

people because of disaster, poverty,

hunger, and etc. It will be more beneficial

and the money won't be wasted and

become useful for everyone

honorable adjudicators and all of the

members of this house. I would like to

introduce myself, my name is AyuRisna.

I’m so grateful standing here as the

second speaker of the negative team. I

would like to rebut the first and second

speaker of the affirmative team and

deliver my speech in health side.

The second speaker of the affirmative

team said plastic surgery only wasting

money. I don’t think so, because all

people have right to express themselves

freely to use the money, they have. One of

them with plastic surgery because it can

repair the effects of aging and sun

exposure that gives a new look more

dazzling and beautiful for someone.

People have freedom of expression. A

legal argument can be made for cosmetic

surgery. Under the human rights act which

enshrines, we have the freedom to express

ourselves. Article 10 ECHR. If we feel

that out body does not reflect who we are

as people, then we have the right to

change it.

If we can dye our hair, change our clothes

and have piercings, why should we not be

able to express ourselves via cosmetic

surgery, but if someone can afford to

spend money on their own appearance,

there is no reason why they should not be

able to and there is a legal reason why

they should be able to.

Third Speaker (Affirmative Team) : Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I

Would like to introduce myself my name

is Dewa Sastra. I’m so grateful standing

here as the third speaker of Affirmative

team. I Want to rebbot the first speaker

and second speaker of the negative team.

The first speaker said it can be covering

flawed innate like congenital ear and lips

clopt polute, the condition after the

treatment of diseases. And the second

speaker said the law about plastic surgery.

In point of view terms of health always a

risky in surgical procedure. This operation

can’t always make the body more ideal .

Plastic Surgery is also very expensive. For

example the price of surgery plastic in

Korea 2000-3000 US Dolar and American

10000 US Dolar that is more expensive I

speaker said many people do plastic

surgery for make pretty their body that is

not successful and make complication in

the body of people in operation. Just my

rebatle next move on to my argument. If

that operation not succed can make

complication after operation. The

Complications such hematoma, nerve

damage, and infection for example “Nikki

Cox” is the artist she did not succed in

that operation before operation when this

artist is much more beautiful before now

myself. My name is Ni Putu Amelia

RosalitaDewi, I’m so grateful standing

here as third speaker of the negative team.

I would like to rebutting the second and

the third speaker of the affirmative team.

The second speaker of the affirmative

team said that plastic surgery, is just waste

money and It is required a very large cost.

My argument is for the budget that you

said expensive is normal I think. Because

for thread studies of anti-aging is not

cheap. It is need very much cost and

financial capital. So, I think it is equitable

which the cost is expensive for the people

to deepen the science of anti-aging so they

can get advantages if they can do the

plastic surgery.

And for the third speaker of affirmative

team said that plastic surgery can’t made

the body be ideal because it can be fail.

My argument is not all of the plastic

surgery is fail. The percentage is one of

one hundred costumer. As we know in

Korea much of plastic surgery are

successfully did, and in there plastic

surgery is also popular. Plastic surgery

doesn’t always do for glamour live ladies

and gentlemen. It is can do for repair the

body that needed to repair. For example

when some people got an accident or got

aflame that make one part of the body is

damage that can repaired by do the plastic

surgery.

The complication is not always happened

in plastic surgery. That is suspended from

the maintained after the plastic surgery

ladies and gentlemen.

reply in debate today. I want to review our

debate today. We are from negative team

has represented to you two points.

First point:Cosmetic surgery has become

more popular for modern people. Some

people believe that it is a science to

aim of this surgery is to enhance the

appearance. Therefore there is a

tremendous advantage of plastic surgery it

is gaining wide popularity among the

general public in addition to celebrities.

Plastic surgery focuses on providing the

because of the increased appearance and

people can feel more comfortable and

confident.

But unfortunately the affirmative team can

not touch our argument

Second point:People have freedom of

expression. A legal argument can be made

for cosmetic surgery. Under the human

rights act which enshrines, we have the

freedom to express ourselves. So if

someone can afford to spend money on

their own appearance, there is no reason

why they should not be able to and there

is a legal reason why they should be able

to.

But unfortunately the affirmative team can

not touch our argument

The affirmative team has deliver two

points.

First point : the affirmative team argue

that ben plastic surgery. Plastic surgery

makes people unable to perform plastic

surgery and not grate full for the gift of

God

We clearly rebut about the affirmative

team argument by saying plastic surgery is

not grateful for the give of god but plastic

surgery is a special type of operations

from economic side. This plastic surgery

is only activity that waste of money. As

we know that plastic surgery is very

use for help people or for their future.

We clearly rebut about the affirmative

team argument by saying all people have

right to express themselves freely to use

the money, they have. One of them with

plastic surgery because it can repair the

effects of aging and sun exposure that

gives a new look more dazzling and

beautiful for someone.

The affirmative team has failed to give as

rebuttle four opinion of our opinion. And

we already clearly explained why we

don’t agree to the motion. If you agree

of argument of my team is that case i can

say my team is the winer in this debate

about plastic surgary.

For the first argument from my team as

artha said if we do the plastic surgary it’s

mean we are no to say thanks to the God,

and that arument can be rebeatle with

negative team as raka, he said do the

plastic surgary is not to say thank’s to tthe

God, but for be more convidence. So the

question is what the related say thanks to

the God, and more convidence? Argument

of my team is absolutly stronger.

And the second argument from positive

team as my friend agung said from point

of view the mony how much we are to pay

if doing plastic surgary, he said to do the

plastic surgary is to much expensive, that

more god if usee the money for sosiality

activities, because we are have a religion.

But that argument can be rebeatled with

negative team, as risna, she said every

people have freely to use their money, so

if we are do that it’s seems we are ateis.

And the third argument of positive team

as dewa said from point of view of healt,

he said so many risk if we do the plastic

surgary, maby we can die if we do plastic

surgary . but that argument can be rebetled

by negative team as amel, she said not all

of the plastic surgary is failed, so the

question is why we get the risk?

So that all i can replayed, my team is the

winer. All of argument from negative

team can be rebeatle with my team. All of

argument from my team are stronger, so
