four-year institutions for English majors, including a cooperative agreement with Dickinson State University that allows students to work toward a bachelor’s degree while attending classes on the BSC campus.

BSC English courses provide students the opportunity to strengthen their writing, reading and critical thinking skills. English faculty strive to instill in the students an appreciation of the power and beauty of the written word and the knowledge that their voices have value, all while participating in a community of active learners.
