The students will be exposed to the mechanics of writingparagraph.

LearningOutcomes

At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:1. Use pre-writing strategies for paragraph

development. 2. Write clear descriptive sentences.3. Focus writing on a central idea or topic.4. Identify the paragraph that is correctly developed. 5. Proofread to correct conventional errors in

mechanics and grammar.6. Produce a paragraph without any grammatical

errors and almost error free.

Set Induction • Teacher greets the students and briefly explains the lesson for the day.

Evaluation

Students will be graded based on the tasks assigned:

1. Students identify four paragraphs which consist of two correct and two wrong paragraphs.

2. Students produce a paragraph of about ± 100 words using the software.

Reflections After the lesson, generally all the students might be able to achieve the general

objectives and learning outcomes.- This might be because they are exposed to the use of computer which makes the lesson to be more interesting.

However, there might be about 10% of the students who are unable to achieve the general objectives and learning outcomes. - This might be because they are less exposed to the use of computer and therefore they do not show their interest to the lesson. Moreover, they might also do not understand how to use the software and too shy or timid to ask questions or helps from the teacher.

The students might find the software to be quite demanding.

The lesson might be more effective if we are able to monitor every student personally.

Writing lesson will be more interesting by using technology instead of manual teaching.

It is worse for those who have asthma and lung diseases. These are all major factors for air pollution.

3. Polar bears are considered to be mammals. One reason they are called mammals is that they are endothermic. This means that they use the heat from metabolism to control their body temperature. Polar bears have a thick covering of fur which keeps their bodies warm in their cold environment. Another reason they are considered mammals is that the females produce milk for their young. Since it meets these characteristics, the polar bear is classified as a mammal.

4. Watching too much TV is one of the major sociological issues of this century which has many effects on the physiology and psychology of people. Some people like to munch on something while watching their favorite programs. Another physiological effect from watching TV in excessive amounts is eye-strain. Besides, those who spend too much time in front of TV would have communication problem. Some are also influenced by the things they seen on TV, especially the children. Watching too much TV is proven to have many effects on the physiology and psychology of people.
