DIRECT ENTRY: (i) LAUTECH, MAIDUGURI, IBADAN and MINNA accept

ND/HND at upper credit level. LAUTECH, ILORIN and FUNAAB accept three ‘A’ level credit passes in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and Biology.

(ii) ESUTECH accepts ND/HND into 200 level and HND, first degree holders into 300 level.

(iii) ESUTECH accepts ‘A’ level Chemistry. (iv) RSUST and UNN require A/L passes in Physics, Chemistry

and Mathematics plus UTME requirement. (v) ESUTECH accepts ND/NCE with good grades in relevant

fields. (vi) UMUDIKE accepts ND/HND with good grades in relevant

fields. (vii) FUNAAB and MAUTY accept GCE `A' Level credit passes in

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or equivalent. FUNAAB accepts ND (Upper Credit) in Agricultural Engineering or relevant disciplines.

(viii) UNN accepts: (a) HND/ND/NCE in relevant fields (b) Complete pass in Intermediate ICAN examination or

Secretaries. (ix) OAU requires two A’ level passes in Physics, Pure

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Admission should be

to 200 level of study in a five year degree programme.

b. National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND)

at Upper Credit and above, in the relevant discipline from

an approved Polytechnic or related Institution. ND holders

shall be admitted to the 200 level or study in a five year

degree programme while HND holders shall be admitted to

300 level. In addition to the above, candidates must have

five (5) SCCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ level credit passes, including

English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics,

Physics and Chemistry.

(xiii) ABU does not accept First Degree Holders. (xiv) MAIDUGURI requires a minimum of Lower Credit in

National Diploma and Merit or nine points in IJMB. (xv) ABUAD and LAUTECH - Same as in Chemical Engineering. (xvi) FUTA accepts ND at Upper Credit level or equivalent

professional qualification in Agricultural Engineering. or 'A' level passes at one sitting in at least two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

(xvii) ABU accepts (a) ‘A’ level/IJMB passes or equivalent in Physics and

Mathematics. (b) ND Upper Credit or Distinction in Agricultural Engineering

(xviii) RSUST requires A/L passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics plus UTME requirement and accepts ND. U.D. (Upper Credit) in relevant disciplines for admissions into 200 level or HND in the appropriate discipline for admissions into 300 level.

(xix) OSUSTECH requires two A’ level passes in Agric. Science, Mathematics Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

(xx) FUTO requires accepts two ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Physics and Mathematics. It also accepts ND/HND at Upper Credit level in Engineering. Candidates must in addition meet the ‘O’ Level requirements. It does not accept First Degree and NCE.

(xxi) FED-OYEEKITI – Same as in Mechanical Engineering. (xxii) ILORIN accepts: a. First Degree from Physical Sciences at Second Class Lower

Division may be admitted into 200 Level. b. HND in relevant Engineering discipline at Distinction or

Upper Credits level from recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology after NYSC may be considered for upgrading

UTME: (i) ESUTECH accepts a credit in English Language and all

relevant subjects. (ii) MAKURDI requires five credits passes in Mathematics,

Physics, Chemistry and any two of English Language, Biology or Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Geography and Economics. Also candidates with NABTEB Federal Craft Certificate or WAEC (Technical) Credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, may be admitted at 100 Level if they meet other admission requirements. All candidates must have obtained at least a pass in English Language.

(iii) AUE and RSUST accept credit pass in Biology or Agricultural Science as the fifth subject.

(iv) IBADAN require 5 or 6 'O' level credit passes at one or two sittings to include English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with any one/two of the following: Biology/ Agric Science, Further Mathematics, Technical. Drawing, Economics, Geography, Metal Work, and Wood Work.

(v) LAUTECH, RSUST and BAUCHI accept Biology in lieu of Agricultural Science.

(vi) FUTO accepts any other Science subjects as the fifth subject and not more than two sittings.

(vii) MAIDUGURI requires Five 'O' Level credits to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one credit from among Biology, Geography, Agric. Sci, Further

To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of credit pass in the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level), or West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or NECO or its equivalent at NOT more than two (2) sittings in five (5) subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics English Language and any other science subject.

(ix) FUNAAB requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

(x) BAYERO requires five O' Level passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

(xii) NDU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject in not more than two sittings.

(xiii) FED-OYEEKITI – Same as in Mechanical Engineering. Accepts ND in Agricultural Engineering.

(xiv) UNN requires five O’ level credit passes to include, Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

(xv) BAUCHI accepts Agricultural Science in Biology. (xvi) ABU prefers credit pass in Biology/Geography or

Agricultural Science as the fifth subject. (xvii) LANDMARK requires credit pass from any of the following

as the fifth subject: Further Mathematics, Biology, Fishery, Agricultural Science & Technical Drawing.

(xviii) ILORIN – Requires credit pass in Biology as the fifth subject. Candidate who passed Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing at Credit levels stand at an advantage.

(xix) MAUTY requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Tech. Drawing/ Agric. Sci./Geography/ Further Mathematics/
