    INTRODUCTION AND CONCEPT

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    Our company 3DV (3 Dimensional Vision) is based at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; it was setup up in year

    1990 by Mrs. Natasha Fox. We are into manufacturing and research & development (R & D) of visual

    systems. The company consists of around 300 employees at this particular moment (March, 2010), the

    key members of the company are the CEO (Mrs. Natasha), CIO (Ms. Leila), CFO (Mr. Mpelwa) and CTO

    (Mr. Arjun). In the first year of operations company reached $ 1,000,000 sales. Over next few years

    the margin of profit rose consistently. Currently our sales are over $10,000,000 all over the world.

    The Board of Directors (Natasha, Arjun, Mpelwa and Leila) of the company has decided that the team

    should come up with a novel product concept which can be worked upon and launched in the market

    in a years time so, as to have greater profit margins in the coming years.

    So after doing the research the team has come up with a one of its kind product concept known as

    VGen Induced which is 3D virtual reality physical presence device working on induced current and

    solar energy. It is an electronic entertainment device aimed or targeted for the age group between 16-

    70 years but its main target market would be that between 16-35 years. As this age group is more into

    electronic entertainment and futuristic technology. As its a sophisticated device so cant be targeted

    for age group below 16 years. This device can also be successfully implemented into medical,

    educational, scientific and defense use too.

    The company uses functional organization structure with the main head being the CEO with CIO, CFO

    and CTO reporting directly to him/her. The CIO heads the information sector, the CFO heads the

    financial sector and the CTO heads the technical sector. All of them work together to obtain the

    common target or goals set in the board meetings. Each department has its own target to achieve, but

    the final target (decided in board meetings) is one which can be achieved by co-operations between

    all the various departments. This time the final target is to come up with the novel product concept

    which can be launched in market in a years time.

    OBJECTIVES

    All men seek one goal: success or happiness. The only way to achieve true success is to express

    yourself completely in service to society. First, have a definite, clear, practical ideal-a goal, an

    objective. Second, have the necessary means to achieve

    ANALYSIS OF VOICE OF CUSTOMER

    The voice of the customer is the term used to describe the stated and unstated customer needs or

    requirements. The voice of the customer can be captured in a variety of ways: direct discussion or

    interviews, surveys, focus groups, customer specifications, observation, warranty data, field reports,

    etc.

    In this particular research we used surveys to capture the voice of customers by handing out

    questionnaires to 100 people in different locations like the train station, colleges, food courts, sports

    club etc.
