PUT PROTECTION, SUCH AS PLASTIC SHEETING, CLOTHS, ETC; AS NECESSARY ON WIRING AND

REGULARLY REMOVE ALL SHAVINGS, UNWANTED MATERIAL AND OTHER CONTAMINATION.

THESE PRECAUTIONS WILL DECREASE THE RISK OF CONTAMINATION AND DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL

Task 541022-832-801-001: Inspection of the Corner Fittings

Preparation - Subtask 541022-941-001-001 - Job Set-Up

A. The following items shall be considered as the basic Aircraft configuration before you start a maintenance task:

(1) Aircraft on the ground resting on landing gear (the ground safety locks and

the wheel chocks are in position on the landing gear). (2) Engine shut down, thrust reversers closed and locked. (3) Aircraft in clean configuration. (4) Parking brake applied. (5) Aircraft electrical network de-energized. (6) Hydraulic systems depressurized. (7) Access to the cockpit and cabin is available. (8) All circuit breakers are in closed position. (9) All controls in NORM, AUTO or OFF position.

B. Make sure that the aircraft is electrically grounded (Refer to AMM Task 12-34-24-869-002).

C. Put the access platform(s) in position. M

D. Remove the panels of the LH pylon 475AL, 476AR refer to AMM 06-41-54, Page Block 001.

Procedure - Subtask 541022-220-001-001 - Do a detailed Inspection of Forward Corner Fittings of Pylon AFT Secondary Structure LH.

E. Do a Detailed Inspection of the corner fittings. Refer to Fig. A-FBAAA and Fig. A-FFAAA.

CRACKS WERE FOUND IN LH PYLON CORNER FITTINGS YES NOT

a. If no crack is found on the corner fitting:

Do the inspection again at the interval given in Table I – Accomplishment, refer to TASK 541022-832-801 001 Inspection of the Corner Fittings

b. If crack is found on the corner fitting:

Do TASK 541022-832-802 001 Inspection of the Lower and Medium Spars. Refer to step K.

a. If no damage is found:

Accomplish Engineering Order IM-A319/A320-54-1488 at or before 5.000FC/7.500FH, whichever occurs first.

b. If damage is found such as crack or deformation:

Contact Engineering department before next flight for that engineering department Contact Airbus.
