The seeds of today’s business were sown in the 1970s with the creation of two dynamic companies - Hydratight (later to become HydratightSweeney) and Hedley Purvis. In 2005, the two businesses were acquiredby Actuant Corporation and integrated to form a single new organisation - Hydratight.

To date, more than 4,700 candidates, from graduates to HSE OffshoreInspectors, operators to pipefitters, have attended accredited andcustom designed courses at Hydratight training facilities.

Hydratight is the only company to offer City and Guilds accreditedsubsea bolting and machining courses, now widely accepted as thebest in the world. This is all part of our plan to reduce leakages on all assets industry-wide.
