consolidation test, sieve analysis etc.

• Strength of material lab having instruments to

perform compressive strength test, Brinell

hardness test, dynamic impact test, torsion test etc.

• Concrete lab to perform flexural strength,

measurement of workability of concrete, setting

time of cement, mix design of concrete etc.

• Transportation lab to perform impact, abrasion value

test, flakiness and elongation test of aggregates;

penetration, softening pt., flash and fire pt. of

bitumen, Marshall mix design, CBR value test of

subgrade material etc.

Eligibility Criteria:• WBJEE 2016 & JEE-MAIN 2016 (CBSE Joint) merit listed candidates shall have to adhere to the cut-off marks in qualifying examination (10+2) i.e., at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates) with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject)• Lateral entry through JELET-2016 / Decentralised Counseling (for limited seats )

Course Duration: 4 years (8 semesters)

M.Tech. Approved by AICTE and affiliated to MAKAUT(formerly known as WBUT)

Eligibility Criteria: B.E./B.Tech. in ECE/AEIE/Control & Instrumentation Engg. or M.Sc. in Electronics/Physics (with specialisation in Electronics) or equivalent to B.E./B.Tech
