1. Introduction :
In 1978, Inha University was founded as a department of computer science. In 1982, it opened
a master's program. In 1988, it opened a doctoral program and produced many professional
talents. Major fields include artificial intelligence, optimization planning, parallel processing,
database, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), computer security, intelligent electronic
commerce system, intelligent discovery and computer vision, web intelligence, data mining and
computer graphics The laboratory equipped with the latest experimental and experimental
equipments and major books are actively responding to students' research.

current research :
My research interests span the areas of data mining, databases, big data analytics, and
computational geometry. Main theme of my research is to develop novel algorithmic tools for
mining a massive volume of data that cannot be analysed by classic algorithms and conventional
computing platforms. Currently, I am working on semantic trajectory mining and massive mobility
data analysis. For the research, I always pursue my work to be theoretically rigorous as well as
practically efficient.
