Notes on Purchasing
• Special Orders must be approved by the faculty
• Criteria:
– What will it be used for?
– Why this part and not something in store?
– Produce a drawing showing the part(s) on the team’s design
• Things to note about special orders:
– No special orders can be restocked
• Teams must check with store – read whiteboard or ask store employee whether parts are in (true for both regular and special orders)

• Open Lab Resources are limited – please share table space in Rooms 206, 208, 214, and 216
• During your regular class time, remain at bench in your class room – do not take a space in HI 208.
• At this time purchase only what you need for your robot now. Do not purchase spares or extras until 5th or 6th week.
