ENGINEERING FOR KIDS- Dallas Metro DISCOVER | LEARN | EXPLORE STEM ENRICHMENT | Bringing the excitement of engineering to Wylie ISD since 2013. Ours is a proven pro- gram for a life-long interest in STEM! Students grades K-4 will use the Engineering Design Process to explore the fields of Lego Robocs, Aeronaucal and Industrial Engineering, sparking a passion for creaon and nkering. Lego Robotics: Revel in robocs! Use WeDo or EV3 robots and soſtware capa- ble of doing almost anything, from playing basketball, to rescuing skiers trapped in an ava- lanche, playing soccer , build wild animals, airplane, yacht and more! Classes held on Septem- ber 5, 12, 19, 26 October 3. Price for these 5 classes is $96. Aeronautical Engineering: Blast off into space and zip through the sea. Students use aerodynamics, liſt, propulsion to launch bole rockets, blimps, power boats, lunar lander and compete to be the highest and fastest. Classes held on October 10, 17, 24, 31, November 7. Price for these 5 classes is $96. Industrial Engineering: Students will explore foundaonal concepts of assembly line, create simple machines such as levers. They will also learn how recent trends like robocs are influencing this field of engineering by creang their own sketch bot. Classes held November 14, 21 December 5, 12.
