Specially selected from renewable, managed
forestsinseveralcontinents,thesetimbers

ecologicalcredentials.
Forexample,thedistinctivedarkcurupau,
whichcomesfromthesub-tropicalandhumid,
temperateforestsofSouthAmerica.This
memberofthemimosaceaefamilyislocally
knownasanadenantheraandcangrow
upto27meters.Ithasapalepinksapwood
andadarkbrownheartwoodwhichhasan
excellentnaturaldurabilityandisperfectfor

Inspection
Woodisanaturalproductwhichcontainsnaturalimperfections.Whileeveryeffortismadetofaithfullyrepresenttheoveralllookandcharacterofafloor,itmustberememberedthatduetotherestrictionsoftheprintingprocess and limited size of samples complete accuracy is notalwayspossible.Thereforeitistheresponsibilityoftheinstallertocarefullycheckthefloorforgrade,colour,finishandqualitybeforeinstallation.Iftheflooringisnotacceptablecontactusimmediately.Wecannotacceptliabilityforanyfloorthathasbeeninstalledwithavisibledefect.
Acclimatisation
Theflooringshouldbeopenedandstoredinthesameareawhereitwillbefitted.Pleaseensurethatallwettradeshavebeencompletedandhumiditylevelshavereturnedtonormal(about15.5oCto26.5oCand40%to60%humidity).
Moisture
Temperatureandhumiditycausesexpansionandcontractioninallwoodenflooring.Engineeredwoodenflooringisdesignedtohavegreaterresiliencetotheeffectsofmoisturethanordinarysolidwood.Itisexpectedthatinanormalhomethemoisturecontentofthewood(%MC)willvaryfrom7.6%to11.1%dependingontheseason.
Itisthereforetheresponsibilityoftheinstallertocheckthemoisturelevelsonsitebeforethefloorisfitted.Properlyrecordedinformationcontainingdetailsofsubfloormoisturecontent,airtemperatureandrelativehumiditywillenablethefloortobefittedwithpreciselytherightmoisturecontenttomatchtheproposedsite.Iftheflooristobelaidonatimbersub-flooritshouldbe+/-2%MCofthetimberitistobefixedto.Iftheflooristobeusedonaconcretesub-floor,thenthatconcreteshouldhavenomorethana75%relativehumidity.
Maintenance
VenturePlankshouldbemaintainedinthesamewayassolidwoodflooring.Itshouldbecleanedusinganti-staticmops,brushesandvacuumcleaners.Adampclothcanbeusedtoremovespillsandstainsbutavoidusingexcessiveamountsofwaterwhencleaning.Theuseofprotectivefeltpadsandplasticcupsonfurnitureisrecommendedasistheuseofentrancematstoprotectthewoodfromexcessdirtandscratching.Ifdamageorheavyweardoesoccur,the6mmsurfacelayercanbesandedandre-finished.
