Norwich University’s Master of Civil Engineering ProgramOur MCE program combines high-quality instruction with the flexibility of an online learning platform that allows working professionals to balance work and life respon-sibilities while gaining an advanced degree. The structure of the MCE program includes:

• Six, eleven-week seminars of 6 credits for a total of 36 credits. Seminars can be completed as quickly as 18 months.

• Two start dates per year: March and September.

• One-week residency and graduation at Norwich University’s campus.

• Transfer up to 12 credits.• Classes capped at 15 students to

promote student-student and student-faculty interactions.

• Concentrations in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental/Water Resources Engineering and Construction Management.

Program CurriculumThe MCE program is composed of six 6-credit seminars for a total of 36 credits. All students complete core coursework that includes a comprehensive seminar in project management and a seminar in engineering mathematics. The remaining seminars are based upon a chosen concentration in either Environmental/Water Resources, Structural, Geotechnical or Construction Management. The program and graduation culminate in a one-week on-campus residency.

MCE Program Requirements• No GRE or GMAT requirements.• Submission of official transcripts of undergraduate

degree completion (from an accredited US institution or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution).

• Undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher.• Completion of online application form.

• Submission of resume, letter of intent and letter of recom-mendation from a professional or academic contact.

• Proof of English language proficiency, if required (TOEFL, IELTS or baccalaureate or master’s degree from a college/university/institution in which the primary language of instruction was English).
