For 90% CO2 neutral in 2050 we will need CCUS.

Current CO2 utilisation market:

1. Greenhouses

High number of consumers in fixed area’s,

Mostly run by CHP gas engines

Already project with CO2 from industry (WarmCO2, OCAP, etc.)

Export either in liquid form (road tanker) or gas pipelines

2. Food grade CO2 (ISPT norm) to sell on market

Smaller market, but demand is there

CO2 capture is on the shelf. Plant scale and integration is the

challenge.

▪ Amine based solvent for biogas to green gas (>15 yrs on

the market)

▪ High purity recovery from fermentation process (>20 yrs

on the market)

Monoethanolamine (MEA) for selective CO2 binding for

atmospheric flue gas (CO2) systems.

▪ Generic MEA (30%) from DOW / BASF is affordable.

▪ Advanced MEA systems such as BASF OASE Blue by

BASF/Linde on the market.

▪ 2e generation capture media under development.
