ENERGY STAROn January 1, 2011, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rolled out the new ENERGY STAR program requiring all new submissions be reviewed by an EPA-recognized Certification Body in addition to qualification testing being performed by an EPA-recognized Testing Laboratory. TÜV SÜD is both a recognized Testing Laboratory for the ENERGY STAR program and a recognized Certification Body for the ENERGY STAR program. First-party testing laboratories are allowed under TÜV SÜD’s CB supervision through our Acceptance of Client Testing (ACT) program.
