    ELECTRIC ENGINEERING DIVISION

    ENERGY TRANSPORT and DISTRIBUTION SERVICES

We have extensive experience in engineering, construction, installation and maintenance oftransformation stations, transformation centers, measurement equipment, wiring of boards andcells, platforms, and underground lines of low and medium voltage.

Additionally, we do troubleshooting. This task is closely related to the continuity of electricservices, and it is more complicated in distribution systems than in transmission lines.

This division proposes a new method of fault location for distribution systems: Through

graphical analysis of the fault impedance, in which errors in estimating the distance based on thedistance and the type of failure are lower than 2.5%.

    DOMOTICS / HOME AUTOMATION

In a smart home, all the elements converge towards a "smart controller"; which will decide howeach element interacts with each other, thereby streamlining the amount of wiring and sensors.

Although initially focused on new construction, home automation can be applied to all types of buildings, including existing buildings. It is not limited to single family dwellings (houses, apartments), but also under the name of INMOTICS, it can be installed in public or private

buildings, offices, hotels, malls, businesses, industries, and all types of buildings.

Through the careful programming and integration of all available resources, Domoticsdramatically increases the comfort and security of a home or building, rationally managing allsystems: lighting, air conditioning, electrical control, access control, surveillance cameras,

burglar alarms, smoke detectors, sound equipment, etc.

RENEWABLE ENERGY & ENERGY EFFICIENCY DIVISION

    OBJETIVE

It consists mainly in identifying barriers to face in the development of power plants, in all itsdimensions, using different technologies for renewable energies.Specifically, it is intended that the different generation technologies complement each other forheating, cooling and production of electricity. Furthermore, the presentation of the economic, social and environmental benefits relative to the nationwide trend scenario where the main goalis to reduce the trade balance deficit by reducing the need to import oil to generate electricity. The latter is backed by the new promotion law that seeks to reach the target of 8% of the nationaldemand for electricity generated by renewable sources by 2017 and increase this rate to 20% by

    2025.

To achieve this goal, we will work with different systems, such as on demand oxyhydrogen(HHO) generation in diesel cycle engines with Bureau Veritas certification. We will also use

photovoltaic systems based on monocrystalline, polycrystalline, amorphous silicon, and othertechnologies. In addition, hydraulic power can be recovered in cascades in treatment plantsthrough mini turbine technology.Additionally, we will perform feasibility studies analyzing the possibility of converting wastetreatment plants into biomass / biogas plants. Biogas could be used to generate electricity, usingthe above-mentioned HHO system in power generators. In that sense, a debate is left open for theopportunity to co-generate with this system.

It is noteworthy that what is expressed above, follows the long-term policy that seeks to diversifythe energy matrix promoting renewable energy sources that avoid the use of fossil fuels, generating power with own natural resources. Together with us, the doors open to the possibilityof self-generation in a first stage, and then to the generation of clean energy to supply thenational grid.

    DIFERENT TECHNOLOGIES USED

    HHO (Oxi-Hydrogen) System

With a HHO system, it is possible to generate electricity by coupling it to a conventionalgenerator in new or existing facilities. The gas injection functions to the generator are controlled. When the right gas proportions are provided to it, clean combustion occurs. It is known thatoxyhydrogen (HHO) is a mixture of diatomic hydrogen and oxygen in a proportion that assumes2: 1, same amount of water. For this, the equipment is designed to support the injection of"Natural Gas + HHO + Diesel", "Liquefied Gas + HHO + Diesel", "Biogas + HHO" and / or"Biogas + HHO + Biodiesel".

By making a conventional power generator a hybrid installation, great fuel economy is achieved, avoiding carbon dioxide polluting emissions. Also, the life of the combustion engine (diesel) isextended.

    Operation

The installation of a DUAL-TRIAL system in Diesel or Otto cycle engines, injects gas or gasesin the combustion chambers through the intake or burners dosing the exact flow of fuel (fossil orecological). The correct dosage of gas is continuously controlled by an electronic controller(CPU). This CPU ensures perfect combustion, which increases the actual engine power and

performance. All this, results in economic savings and environmental improvements.

It is possible to enrich all poor fuels, making them more powerful and with higher yields. Thismakes it ideal and indispensable to inject in the obtained biogas and thus achieve higher thermalefficiency.

In this way, you can successfully get a reduction in the diesel injection system, in some casesclose to 70%, replacing the fuel with natural gas (NG), whose greenhouse gases emissions aremuch lower than of diesel fuel. Alternatively, it will be possible to replace NG with biogastreated with HHO.

The figure below outlines the HHO system in diesel engines:

    Photovoltaic / PV Systems

Photovoltaic systems / panels are powered by an inexhaustible energy source: the sun. The sunstriking a semiconductor element specially developed, and through a physical-chemical process, called photoelectric, produces a continuous electrical current. This current is then converted intoalternating current, which we normally use in our homes (220 VAC) or industry (220-380 VAC).The sensitive element to solar radiation is silicon, a semiconductor that today is the basis for the

production of most of the electronic components (computer chips, flat panel displays, opticalsensors, etc.), among which include photovoltaic panels.

At present, the production of solar panels based on this element, uses it in three different states:monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous. The first two alternatives produce rigid panels

with considerable weight and difficulty to handle. The amorphous silicon allow to produceflexible and lightweight sheets that are easy to install.

Lately, a new amorphous technology incorporates three layers of a-Si (amorphous silicon),arranged one above the other, in different directions and amounts. This technology allows a jointreaction to sunlight, which practically covers the entire spectrum of visible light. This is certainlythe biggest innovation in the production of photovoltaic panels in recent years.

For its installation, no special support structures are needed. Drilling the roof is not necessary. This undoubtedly harms the waterproofing of it. The modules are attached to each other byapplying heat with a flame, like any other type of polymer bitumen asphalt layer in an extremely

simple way. The system is delivered in pre-formed rolls, which facilitates installation. A perfectfinish is achieved by the end of it, using a product that cleans the membranes.

    Thermosolar Systems

They are used in solar thermal power plants to generate heat rather than convert this heat intoelectricity, in a much more profitable way.

To collect solar energy at low temperature can be done mainly in two ways: using flat solarcollectors and vacuum tubes, which collect sunlight from all directions and can reachtemperatures of 120°C. Another option is to do it at medium and high temperatures through solarconcentration, following the direction of the sun, concentrating their radiation and reachinghigher temperatures. The latter may be parabolic trough systems, linear Fresnel lenses collectors,

parabolic dish systems or solar towers. Most of these technologies were developed in the latenineteenth century and are used depending on the type of heat demand.

    Mini hydraulic Systems

With a Mini-Hydroelectric power generation plant, it is possible to generate electricity by using awaterfall and inject it to the grid. Most of these systems are used for the production of electricalenergy and our proposal consists on this. In the case of energy recovery in existing facilities, independence of hydraulic potential is achieved regardless of the rainfall regime or the annualrainfall.

Another favorable aspect is the positive effect of not having to build a dam, with problems ofdisturbed waterways, erosion, etc. In addition, the ease of the installation of the equipment iswhat contributes to apply this energy source. Additionally, hydropower remains to be the mostused among renewable energy sources for electricity production, at all scales. It is shown in

    Figure a team like this.

    Biodigestion / Biogas Systems

We have designed bioreactors or continuous process anaerobic digesters to meet a 7/9 day cycleafter filling the reactor with the waste to be treated. This is achieved thanks to a unique

biological system controlled by a custom made CPU.

Below are some images of our products:

These are the plants that have been developed for pigs and poultry. In addition to obtaining largeamounts of biogas, once the process is complete, the substrate obtained allows to obtain productssuitable for export, making it an important source of income. Besides generation of electricityand heat, our plant is generally supported by a secondary system, which can be wind or solar.

Wind Power –  Wind Farm Development

The country has unique features that give great potential for the development of wind energy. The aim is to promote the exploitation of a renewable and sustainable resource. We assume thecommitment that the wind industry should be 100% national. There are already farms inoperation and advances in the manufacture of wind turbines with Argentinean label.

According to data supplied by ENARSA ( Energía Argentina S.A.), "Rawson I & II, Madryn I &II and Loma Blanca wind farms have been commercially enabled to date." For this, we havespecialists for the development of winds farms projects.

    Stages of Development

    R&D

This stage includes: all tasks to select sites with possible wind potential, install measurementtowers, complete measurement campaigns and electrical connection of the farm, make thenecessary studies of wind and location of wind turbines, as well as evaluating the majorenvironmental impacts.

When the research phase is concluded, the promotion / development stage begins. This consistsin obtaining all permits and licenses for the construction and commissioning of a wind farm.

    Wind farm promotion / development

During the development stage, with a duration of 3-4 years, the work consists of obtaining all permits, licenses and authorizations that allow the construction and commissioning of a windfarm and its evacuation infrastructures.

The vertical integration of the area of Promotion and Sale of Farms and its experience in thistype of activities, allow to perform technical and administrative tasks required to transform anidentified location as a high potential wind farm in a project that produces and sells electricity.

These tasks include communication with a) competent authorities in each region or country, b)the landowners affected by the project and c) utilities, with which the connection of each wind

    farm is established.

    Mini wind turbines

As it is well known, a mini wind turbine used for own consumption is quite profitable, becausethere are good weather conditions for it. There are energy isolated areas where it is difficult andcostly to bring electricity. This applies to private users, tourist locations or businesses. In thesecases, small wind turbines can be operated in conjunction with a storage system (batteries) orhybrid systems, such as solar panels and generators.

    Low power hybrid systems

The hybrid wind-photovoltaic system is a high efficiency system, with very encouraging results. We have isolated or interconnected systems to networks at commercial scale. A typical

configuration of a hybrid wind-photovoltaic system is displayed below.

This system breaks the economic dependence on fuel suppliers. The photovoltaic and windenergy industries are already a reality in our country. It is important to mention, that there isenough knowledge about these systems and the lack of investment in this sector can be attractiveto municipalities, industrial parks and gated communities.

    Renewable Energy Feasibility Studies

The following factors often justify the installation of technology to generate clean energy:

Advantages of the generation cost with a 1000 kVA generator set with an HHO system vs(1) the tariff rate from the Wholesale Electricity Market Administration Company(CAMMESA/Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico) for MTgeneration or vs (2) the generation cost with 100% liquid fuel in the same generator set:

For comparison (1), the value of contracted energy from the Wholesale ElectricityMarket ( MEM/Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista) is approximately75 US$/MWh vs 25US$/MWh with an HHO system.

Thus, the savings are 3 times.

For comparison (2), the generator running with 100% diesel, has an energy cost of 525US$/MWh, and the same machine with the HHO system (mixing ratio of 9% Diesel +40%NG + 51% HHO) has an energy cost of 25 US$/MWh. Therefore, savings aremore than 20 times.

Savings for other technologies must be analyzed.

      Existence of an energy crisis in the country (and the world) that demands the need todevelop and investigate new ways of generating electricity other than the conventionalways which use scarce fossil fuels;

      The growing import of electricity from neighboring countries and fossil fuels becomingmore expensive and causing an undesirable dependence on foreign resources;

      Existence of a law that promotes renewable energies;

      Commercial use of hybrid technologies in relationship to the generation of renewableelectricity with later sale to the grid;

Knowledge of the negative impact on the environment with the use of fossil fuels for power generation (gas emissions and global warming) and the benefits it would bring its

    replacement by renewable energy sources.
