The Cisco Wireless IP Phone 7926G (Figure 9)builds upon the features of the Cisco WirelessIP Phone 7925G, delivering many of the samefeatures and capabilities. This phone includesthe addition of a two-dimensional (2D) EA11 bar-code scanner. Unlike a 1D bar-codescanner, which typically uses a laser to readthe bar code, the 2D scanner uses LEDs toilluminate the image and take a picture. The

phone then decodes the image and presentsthe barcode information to the back-endsystems application. The addition of the 2Dscanner makes the Cisco Wireless IP Phone7926G ideal for environments that requirescanning capability and unied communicationsin a single, cost-effective device.
