The art and science of endodontics are currentlyundergoing many exciting changes. Recentadvances in biology, technology, diagnosis, materials and techniques have significantlyenhanced the way in which endodontic treatment isbeing performed. Appropriate assessment ofendodontic treatment outcome is crucial for caseselection and treatment decision-making. Therefore, prior to selection of treatment option, correctdiagnosis and realistic risk assessment should bedone.
It has been recognized that when indicated, endodontic treatment is a predictable treatmentmodality with excellent long-term success rate. Thedecision of treating teeth with compromisedprognosis versus their replacement with dentalimplants should be evidence-based and rely onsound principles of modern practice.
This one-day course includes updates on currenttopics in endodontics and provides you, theclinician, with more knowledge and tools to betterevaluate endodontic cases and to apply evidence-based endodontic treatment with more predictableresults and greater patient acceptance.
