End-Use Efficiency Improvements
It is the modification of consumer demand for energy
through various methods such as financial incentives,
energy saving appliances and education. Usually, the
goal is to encourage the consumer to use less energyduring peak hours, or to move the time of energy use
to off-peak times such as night-time and weekends.
Efficiency Improvements decrease total energy
consumption.
Also it could be expected to reduce the need for
investments in networks and/or power plants.

Need for Efficiency Improvements
Due to Global warming.
Demand Supply Gap.
Energy Wastage.
The need for Continuous sustainable development.
Improved energy efficiency represents the most cost-effective option to reduce the impacts of these problems.
It is an activity between the utility and the end-side
consumers.Major emphasis is on the contribution from the consumerside
