Our memory remains inside of us without any sense of time, while the nature proceed with complete sense of time. I use my work to explore this void between some-thing natural and something unnatural, something vis-ible and something invisible, and something living and something dying in order to find intersection of our time-less memory and constantly changing nature.

我々の記憶は時間を失い、内にとどまる。同時に、自然は完全な時間性と共に進行していく。この時間の失った記憶と、常に変化していく自然との接点を見つける為に、私の作品は、自然と不自然、見えるものと見えないもの、生きて行くもの、死んで行くもの狭間を探求していくプロセスである。その為に、自然と不自然、見えるものと見えないもの、生きて行くもの、死んで行くものの狭間をテーマとしている。

制作過程

記録としてシャッターをきり残す。 そのフィルム

を現像する過程で、手も見えない暗室の中、私自

身の記憶だけを探り、私の記憶の強い部分にだ

け、現像液を使い筆で描く。シャッターをきる前

と、きった後での記憶の痕跡を残す。

Technical Process

I take photographs as a record of my memory. Then in the process of developing negatives, I put myself in the complete darkness in the darkroom. There I use a brush, and chemicals to re-paint , only fol-lowing my memory. As a result, the parts I remember the most reveal themselves more clear, the parts I have forgotten reveal themselves as blurry.
