DirectorsAugusto MatteAugusto Matte is a producer for Jirafa, a Chilean produc-tion company with more than 15 years of experience in the movie industry, where he has worked with Cristian Jiménez and Alejandro Fernández Almendras, among others. Attitude Test is his first feature film as a director.

Fabrizio CopanoFabrizio Copano is a radio and TV personality, scriptwriter, actor, a pioneer of stand-up comedy in Chile and founding member of the TV show El Club de la Comedia. Among his works as lead actor and writer are Héroes (2014) and Barrio Universitario (2014), both by Esteban Vidal.

ProducerFlorencia LarreaFlorencia Larrea is a produc-er for Forastero. She has pro-duced Elisa Eliash’s Here I Am, Here I’m Not, and Rodrigo Sepúlveda’s Aurora, and executive produced Alejandro Fernández’s Much Ado About Nothing.

DirectorDaniel HendlerDaniel Hendler has starred in numerous feature films and directed two short films, Perro Perdido (co-directed) and Cuarto de Hora. He collaborat-ed on scripts by Daniel Burman and Ariel Winograd. In 2010, he directed his first feature, Norberto’s Deadline, winner of the TVE Award at Films in Progress at San Sebastian, among other international awards.

ProducerMicaela SoléMicaela Solé works as a producer on Uruguayan and international projects. In 2007, she co-founded Cordón Films. Among her credits: The New Man by Aldo Garay (Teddy Award at Berlinale 2015), and The Enemies of Pain by Arauco Hernández (Arte Prize in Bafici, premiered in Locarno).

DirectorSelton MelloSelton Mello is a beloved and respected actor in Brazil. Bananeira Filmes produced his first feature film, the award- winning December (2008), as well as The Clown (2011), which received 50 awards at Brazilian and international fes-tivals and was chosen to rep-resent Brazil for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language.

ProducerVania CataniVania Catani is an experienced TV and film producer with more than 20 years in the business. At Bananeira Filmes she has produced up-and-coming and established directors focus-ing on unique and evocative projects. She is currently work-ing on Lucrecia Martel’s Zama, a Brazil-Argentina co-produc-tion set to be released later in 2016.

Nico leaves a promising acting career in Argentina after a tumultuous falling-out with his producer and goes to New York sure that his talent will help him find success. Reality hits him in the face, and now he is juggling odd jobs to keep afloat. Unwilling to return home and be seen as a failure, his fragile world is shaken when Martin, his former producer and lover, visits him. Nico is then forced to confront the true reasons that are making him run away.

ALFREDO CALVINOAlfredo Calvino has worked at Cuba’s ICAIC, Brazil’s Grupo Novo de Cinema e TV and Mexico’s Latinofusion. In 2011, he founded Habanero Film Sales, a distribution, international sales and promotion company based in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, that represents films by Latin American filmmakers with a special focus on Cuban independent cinema. His portfolio includes Alejandro Brugues’ Juan of the Dead (2011) and this year’s Festival Official Selection The Companion (El acompañante) by Pavel Giroud. Among his upcoming projects are Carlos Lechugas’s Santa & Andres and Patricia Ramos’ El sueco.

AGATHE VALENTINAgathe Valentin joined Pyramide International as Head of Sales in 2015 and manages the extensive com-pany library, which includes over 350 titles by acclaimed directors such as Andrei Zviagintsev, Catherine Corsini, Patricio Guzman and Lucia Puenzo. With more than 10 years in the industry, Valentin previously worked at Wide Management and then as Head of Sales for Les Films du Losange, were she handled the sales of more than 40 titles including two Palme d’Or winners, The White Ribbon and Amour.

AGUSTÍ VILLARONGAAgustí Villaronga was born in Palma, Spain. He has directed numerous award-winning features, including In a Glass Cage (1986); El niño de la luna (1989), which competed at Cannes; and The Sea (2000). Villaronga’s best-known work is Black Bread (2011), which swept the Goya awards, including Best Director. His latest work, The King of Havana (2015), is a Festival Official Selection this year.
