ADTRAN’s ATLAS 830 and 890 Integrated Access Devices (IADs) are
multi-function network access switches that enable multiple videocon-
ferencing systems to concurrently share Wide Area Network (WAN)
bandwidth. ATLAS IADs provide video connectivity for both ISDN
and synchronous equipment interfaces. ATLAS eliminates the need
for dedicated videoconferencing circuits which significantly reduces
monthly costs.
ATLAS is a cost-effective, flexible platform designed to satisfy many
WAN connectivity needs. In addition to videoconferencing access and
switching, ATLAS offers T3 and T1 DACSing and grooming, ISDN
switching, Frame Relay, IP Routing and NxT1 Inverse Multiplexing.
