• The Erkoform-3d + is a noticeable further development of the well-proven Erkoform-3d. In principle it is an Erkoform-3dmotion without automated thermoforming process.

• No compressed-air supply required - plug and play. • Touchless temperature sensor for accurate determination of the actual thermoforming material temperature (patented). • Sudden adaptation, thanks to a provided large volume reserve vacuum.• Safety switch-off after 10 sec., when the next working steps are not executed.• Many different languages can be selected. • The medium-wave infrared heating without preheating time heats the material also in the deepness and not only at the surface. • Completely accessible model during the heating process.• Vertical adaptation for even foil thicknesses. • For foil thicknesses from 0 to 5.5 mm. • Acoustic and optic signal, therefore also suitable for deaf persons.

Touchpanel

• The program contains all Erkodent thermoforming materials, leads as short guide with animations through the sequence of work and indicates the required working steps.• Select desired foil and thickness, start.• The indicated thermoforming temperature and the cooling time can be changed for special applications without influencing the basic program. • Often used foils can be saved as favorites.• New foils can be saved as favorites. • Also changed factory settings can be saved as favorites.

The unit can be upgraded with the Occluform-3 which allows to imprint the opposing bite directly during the thermoforming process in the ther-moforming material. In the right moment the unit provides an optical and acoustical signal to perform the adjustment.

thermoforming material on the base of natural lactid acids (polylactides)

Erkoplast PLA replaces the previous Erkoplast and Erkorit types (petroleum-based polystyrenes).

Base for the Erkoplast PLA types is the natural occuring polylactide.Mainly starches for ex. out of maize or other agricultural waste are used as raw materials.

Erkoplast PLA is recommended for the fabrication of individual impression trays and base plates (bite plates). In regard to the physical and processing properties they exceed the previous types Erkoplast and Erkorit.

Erkoplast PLA-T, transparent, allows to recognize areas that are pushed through during the impression-taking. We intentionally astained from using chemical additives in order to modify the natural colour of the polylactide.

PLA-handles The new PLA-handles in flat and high version will be reliably fixed by heat to Erkoplast PLA. Best already during the thermoforming pro-cess. No primer is needed. (With LG-Primer and heat the PLA-handles can also be used for the previous types Erkoplast and Erkorit.)

The base of the PLA-handle and the ridge should roughly fit together. If necessary, soften and adapt the handle base by heating in boiling water, with the hot-air burner (177 540) or a hot air gun.

Thermoform and immediately place the PLA-handle onto the desired area and slightly press into the hot material. Finish the impression tray. Ready.

Playsafe triple light meets the demand to offer a comfortable sports mouthguard with highest protection effect also for small mouths.

The Playsafe triple foils are three-layered, soft at the inside and outside and in between hard. The Playsafe triple foil has a thickness of 5.5 mm. The Playsafe triple light foil has a thickness of 4.1 mm.

The higher protective effect of laminated sports mouthguards in comparison to single-layered ones is well-known. The fabrication of a laminated sports mouthguard, however, is considerably more time-consuming. With the three-layered Playsafe triple foils a laminated sports mouthguard can be fabricated in the same time as a single-layered sports mouthguard. But it still offers the same protective effect as a laminated sports mouthguard of the same thickness that has been fabricated in three different work steps.

Thermoform once and imprint the articulation surface in a tricky way, allow to cool off and finish, if desired, also apply the label and give it its individual character, ready.By the imprint the articulation surface that allows movement for the athlete shows on both sides a lateral stop (buccal shield). This can absorb lateral impacts.

Procedure:• Choose preferred design and determine where it should be applied. Mostly at the visible surface during wearing. Because of the bite changing it is not recommended to apply designs at the occlusal surface. • Erkodent needs the data of the design as .jpg or .pdf. The print will be effected immediately and sent by letter to the client.

A high-quality UV printing technique allows Erkodent to print preferred designs in intense colours directly on Erkoflex (thickness 0.7 mm).

Each design* is possible, but to be readable in the recommended size of about 12 mm height it should not be too detailed. The width respectively length is variable. Very long designs should be divided when applying to the Playsafe sports mouthguard. The print will be delivered on Erkoflex in the thickness of 0.7 mm and the size of 60 x 40 mm.

The application on the sports mouthguard is very simple because of the Erkoflex properties. Heat the sports mouthguard on the model best with the hot air burner (177 540) at the area to which the design should be applied. Place the design that has been cut to size before onto that area and press on with an FG-sheet. At www.erkodent.com please find a video that can also be downloaded.

Playsafe 4 u The primary goal of this offer is to enable to the athlete each preferred design.

Erkodent offers therefore a small selection of designs. As of April 2015 these will be pub-lished at www.erkodent.de. The selection will include for ex. flags, figures in different optics and several licence free designs.

A new Lisko-B polishing disc will always be fixed with two supporting discs at both sides. If the disc is used down to the supporting discs these can be removed and the disc furtheron be used.

prepolishing disc with a considerably higher service life

The successful Lisko polishing disc family has now been extended by a version with a coarse graining to prepolish hard thermoforming materials.

The graining is equal to Lisko brown. Because of the bound structure Lisko-B has a considerably higher life time and remains longer in its basic shape without spreading.

With these discs even thick, hard splints (for ex. Erkodur and Erko-loc-pro 3.0 - 5.0 mm) can be ground to size, prepolished and finished without grinding marks at the edges or at the surface.

After Lisko-B for fine polishing Lisko-S will be used and finally follows the high-gloss polishing with heat (hot air burner, 177 540) or classi-cally with polishing materials.
