The Winter Grip 2 by ANLAS was developed bikers who prefer to use their bike in any weather condition. Therefore, through intensive research, the Winter Grip 2 has been designed for superior safety and performance in bad weather conditions as well as normal daily use.

As a known fact, “grip” is one of the most important properties of a motorcycle tyre, especially on cold, wet and snowy roads.

ANLAS engineers have focused majorly on this issue while developing the Winter Grip 2.The tread pattern enhances rotational grooves and improves water and slush removal.

The technology used in tread compound improves the tyre’s steering properties and control. The activated silica technology combined with proper polymers and environmental friendly oils, performs the best wet grip and abrasion resistance at various climate conditions.

Inflation Pressure:

Most tyre faults arise from wrong inflation pressure. The most important work users may do with their tyres is to keep the inflation pressure at recommended levels. Tyre pressure shall be measured when tyres are cold. Tyres get heated up during operation and pressure increases.

Therefore, tyre pressure shall be measured before departing while the tyres are cold and shall be inflated, if missing. Under high loads, tyres shall be inflated with higher pressure. Tyres used with low pressure under high loads get stretched, heated and wear out rapidly. Rotation resistance and thus, fuel consumption increases.

The maximum load in Ibs is written on every ANLAS tyre together with the corresponding maximum cold inflation pressure in psi. In the tyre service description in accordance with new tyre designation the maximum load is also given through the load index code.

Some tyre show in the service description the additional markings “reinf.” which is indicates a reinforced structure for an increased load capacity. This higher load is already contained in the maximum load inscription. For higher than indicated load capacities in the case of reduced speed consult ANLAS.

The max. permitted speed for a tyre is indicated by a specific speed index-code.
