EMS Competition 2017 The EMS School Competition is considered one of the important parts of the annual school program. It took students more than a month to practice to go into the competition. At the opening of the competition, I took up encouragement and short sharing and I nvocation prayer by Nancy leading to the competition. Students have participated well in the competition. There were two divisions, Junior (Class A up to Class 3) and Senior (Class 4 up to Class 7). The items of the competition consist of Solo Scripture recitation and Solo song presentation, group choir presentation and group quiz sessions conducted according to the number of subjects thought in the school. The EMS teachers have been working very hard in preparing students well and enough questions for quizzes to end the event with success and full of fun. The competition went for two schooling days and ended with four different groups of beautiful and melodious choir presentations by students. EMS Hostel Maintenance While hostellers were sent home for Passion Weekend, we decided to fix and organize Hostel’s kitchen and Wardens room. Enyuk (pictured above) was applying layers of two different kinds of mud, orange and brown for two days inside and outside of the Kitchen. It is dried up by the sun after many hours and providing a smooth and clean living area. This is the most common way or method used in rural North East India to keep the floor vanished and clean and free from dust. She was also fixing the fire place (pictured above). Moijong was building a pot and bucket stand inside the Kitchen (pictured above). We were together cleaning and fixing Wardens room. (Mathew 9:37,38; 28:19, Acts1:8).

While hostellers were sent home for Passion Weekend, we decided to fix and organize Hostel’s kitchen and Warden’s room. Enyuk (pictured

Eden Mission School 2014 Vacation Bible School (VBS) Highlights

Thailand Ministry Invitation

The Bible League Thailand (TBLT) invited us (Nancy & Paul)

to participate in Vision 2020 beyond to involve in church

planting and International Language Center (ILC). TBLT and

TICC’s vision requires and welcomes more missionaries,

partnering churches and organizations to participate in vision

2020 and beyond. Buddhists are converted to Christians in

numbers every month according to the current updates we

received from the Director of TBLT and TICC team in

Thailand. We are thankful and grateful to God for this

opportunity to continue to extend our ministry to Thailand and

to be part of this great movement of missions in Thailand.

We are preparing to travel by 23 June to Thailand. On arrival,

we will be visiting some of their ministry sites starting from

Bangkok and after few days, will be heading to Chiang Mai. I

will be undergoing intensive language training in the Month of

July till August, which Nancy will be refreshing and preparing

on TESOL teaching. We are willing and ready to serve in any

way possible to share God’s love and to deliver the Good

News of Jesus Christ to the lost souls out there. We covet all

your continuous and undivided prayer support.

Eden Mission School Vacation

Bible School (VBS) Jun 12-18,

2017. Our very exciting and upcoming event is

VBS, which will be on the mentioned

date. Nancy and I are arranging food and

lodging and transportation for our guests and also purchasing gifts and food for

- Participate in activities based on

different Bible topics each day.

year’s VBS program. We are praying and

hoping for the achievement of best outcome in this program for the glory of

It is our greatest joy to serve in God’s mission, in His vineyard. We

have seen and experienced God’s unending grace and His

faithfulness in our ministries here. God is using us all for His

glory. We decrease and let Jesus increase in our lives each

day and in all situations and in every area of each of our lives

that others may see Christ in us and give glory to God.

Deep within our hearts, we (Paul & Nancy) are so thankful to all

our faithful friends, families and relatives and individual sponsors and

various members of churches and organizations for your constant prayer, moral and

financial support. May God bless you all abundantly and looking forward to take another

step forward by the grace of God in God’s mission.

1. EMS has nine teachers but none of them are trained and most are high school dropouts. The income of the school is not enough to employ a qualified teacher. Pray that God may enable these teachers to teach effectively.

2. Pray that each student and staff will come to encounter and know the Lord personally as Nancy and Paul continue to encourage them with God’s Word.

3. Pray for EMS 2017 VBS Program. 4. Pray for Transportation and Safe Travel to and from Nsong. 5. Pray for Paul and Nancy’s health. Paul’s knees are healing up but still cannot walk very fast up and down hilly places. Pray

for complete recovery. 6. Pray for processing of Paul & Nancy’s Visas Application to Thailand and their Journey to Thailand on 23rd June 2017.

We covet your faithful prayers and grateful for your faithfulness in partnership with us in God’s mission. All

praise, honor and glory due to HIS Name.
