Market intelligence surveys
From experience, we’ve seen many SME companies launching new products or commencean export drive without having first sufficient reliable knowledge of the targeted market.
The first step to succeed in any market (France being a good example) is to implement amarket survey.
The E.M.S. survey is designed around a series of bespoke “modules” over a specific timebase to achieve set objectives.
Main objectives:
� Provide accurate data to determine a coherent strategy for market entry.
� Offer a clear view of the market with its advantages and also, risks.
� Provide key contact lists (main players, competitors, professional organisations, etc).
� Impose a strong positioning of the exporter’s corporate image.
Direct Marketing actions
The E.M.S. mailing service is providing fresh sale leads which can, in addition, be fullysynchronised with exporter’s exhibitions and/or Media campaigns.
The exporter is fully involved and approves each specific stage of the E.M.S Marketingoperation (message, letter, data base, etc).
To close off the operation, resulting leads can be treated in various ways – such as :
– By the exporter from his home base (directly receiving replies or enquiries).
– By the exporter’s existing French based commercial team.
– By the E.M.S. team in France to qualify leads and undertake all follow upcommercial actions and provide reports.

As many companies do not have sufficient human or financial resources to undertakeall the necessary actions demanded by commercial process, E.M.S. has been assistingcompanies in engineering sales for over 17 years.
Our overall aim is to guide foreign companies to set-up and/or consolidate theirbusiness in the French market. Conversely, E.M.S support is also exploited by Frenchcompanies to help them in export.
Our main focus is on Engineering technologies and general Industrial to promotebespoke solutions and products.
Following corporate & product training, E.M.S. will undertake :
Specific Ad-hoc sales campaigns following product launch, mailing or exhibition
� Qualifying prospects by phone.
� Visit prospects and submit reports.
� Test the financial status of new prospects.
� Handle all customer RFQ.
� Provide complete French commercial and administrative support & reporting.
Commercial actions
Delegated Sales Management formula
This service is exclusive : as the exporter’s French subsidiary, E.M.S will manage Frenchmarket on his behalf. E.M.S. refrains from promoting competitor products or services inthe same industry.
� To set up and promote the exporter’s corporate image, E.M.S. will operate as“Exporter France” (not as E.M.S.) so that the exporter remains in control of business.
� The exporter will provide E.M.S. with all the necessary support (product training,technical data, etc) and will be implicated in the development of sales (reactivity toanswer to RFQ, respect lead time, quality, etc).
� E.M.S. provides specific phone number, postal address, email, identifies newprospects and conducts direct marketing operations to re-activate existing businessand generate new enquiries.
� E.M.S will interface in the appropriate language between Exporter andcustomers/prospects.
� E.M.S follows up quotations, orders (order acknowledgement, shipping document,etc.) and secure payments.
� Via E.M.S, the exporter can access major French prospects & governmentadministrations and tenders (Military, Police, Utilities, etc.).
� E.M.S. can provide other commercial actions (marketing, manning exhibitions, etc)
Communications services
It is a well know fact that using documents written in the language of the targetedmarket is a substantial benefit.
Prospecting to France without having French documents will be difficult asrealistically, few French people can speak fluent English.
Some of the services that can be provided by E.M.S. :
