EMPOWERING WOMEN LEADERS Empowering Women Leaders is a 3-part leadership program for women that provides an opportunity to step away and have a conversation with fellow participants, facilitators, experts, and special speakers. This program is for women, designed and facilitated by women, and provides an environment where women can discuss their experience, leadership challenges, and success. Topics will address the needs of women-specific leadership development, including: ›› Building leadership identity, voice, presence and confidence ›› Focusing on self care, resilience & integration of aspects of life ›› Defining your vision for your work, home and family, and making it a reality ›› Strengthening capacity to manage conflict, have courageous conversations and initiate new conversations ›› Enhancing your network of support with mentors, coaches and sponsors WHY WOMEN-SPECIFIC LEADERSHIP TRAINING? Research shows that gender diversity has been proven over and over again to have a positive effect on numerous measures of organizational performance. This program is for organizations that want to support high potential women leaders to have more influence. Empowering Women Leaders supports the leadership journey to empowerment and promotes an inclusive climate that values both feminine and masculine approaches that are found in both men and women. Participants will return to their organizations with the tools to tap into the diverse strengths typically attributed to women (empathy, insight, and connectivity), and support ongoing development for themselves and others. Lillas Hatala and Linda McCann are consultants, facilitators, coaches and writers. They each bring over 30 years of experience

facilitating leadership development programs in the corporate, government,

post-secondary and not-for-protit sector in North America and abroad.

PART 1Leading Self, Others & Organzation

3-DAY FOUNDATIONAL WORKSHOP

Part 1 applies the Adaptive Leadership Framework and assess results of the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) 360, the Thomas Killman Inventory (TKI), and VIA Character Strengths assessments.

Through this, participants will discover their leader identity and engage in the Women Wisdom panel discussion.

Part 1 develops participants self-awareness, self-management, stress-management, and empathy competencies. This workshop discovers the foundations to leadership success and empowering others, creating an adaptive leadership culture, developing your

strategic plan, and establishing your peer coaching circle.

Ongoing Engagement & Leadership LearningMONTHLY MEETINGS

Part 2 includes support for self-directed learning and ongoing leadership development. This includes three 1-hour telephone

coaching sessions with one of the facilitators, guided peer coaching circle meetings (approximately 1 per month) and a lunch-

and-learn session with alumni and guest speakers.

Leading Your Life: Integration,Implementation & Celebration

1-DAY SESSION

Part 3 focusESng on your well-being, work-life balance and a meaningful, professional support system. This includes learning

tools and techniques for building adaptive leaders and cultures and an opportunity to share resources and practices. Part 3 is where

you will develop your integrated Leadership Development Plan and celebrate your Empowering Women Leaders experience.
